Past, present, future : of all the electronic terrain currently being traversed by intrepid young explorers, the borderlands between early noughties micro house, and OG mid 90’s psy trance feels pretty much unmapped at this stage.

Fearless Leeds / Manc upstart Miurra was just about born when Akufen was cutting up audio collages on Force Inc in 2001/2, and probably wouldn’t necessarily know early Flying Rhino from Dumbo the elephant, but his Collective Leisure debut Tessellate opens up with a burst of artfully chopped up and reassembled samples, before drifting into sweeping, oscillating synths and a propulsive bass line, all underpinned by punchy, stripped back drums.

Support track Fennel comes in two mixes, main version and HBM, both elegant slabs of cheerily avante garde broken beats, rolling basslines, tinkling wonk-keys, topped off with the odd dada - esque spoken vocal intervention.

Berlin has always been a city ready to embrace the leftfield, but here, current resident Shan takes a break from Running Back duties and strides in brandishing thumping kicks, robo - Italo funk, and swooping arpeggios to restore a bit of dancefloor order, via his widescreen Tessellate remix.

"The Jolisa EP marks a significant shift in Luca dell’Orso’s sound. Although the electric hooks and rolling rhythms that characterise the dutchman’s signature style are still present, new avenues are explored. One notable change is the addition of vocals, care of the EP’s namesake: Jolisa. The opening, “Sixteen”, smoulders with a palpable intensity. Steady beats and textured pads support synth stabs as impassioned vocals recant a tale of past lessons. “Reach Out”, on the flip, is a different animal. Big and daring, chords chug next slicing snares while lyrics brim with hope. Two instrumental works balance the four tracker. “Nighttime” is perfectly sculpted with a soulful melody and clean percussion, vocoder lyrics giving a sorrowful slant to track. A true epic closes: “Tomorrow’s Already Here.” Bold keys and racing rhythms collide in this 80s steeped extravaganza, electro-disco and car chases in this incredible end. To make it more fun, let’s have each of these annual releases carry an artwork by the same designer that together arrange to an even bigger picture. And let’s start the whole cycle right here right now with Italian duo Hard Ton and an irresistible post-Italo-trans-Indiedisco-anthem called 'Under This Fantasy'. And yeah, to top things of, let’s have Jorkes transform that tune into a deeper affair cut out for rather shadowy dancefloors. Said and done.

The reference number 73 and our first reference of this year 2022 comes signed by the great Myrddin, from France this fantastic composer delights us with an ep full of eighties and cosmic sounds, with his unique touch, and is that Myrddin since he appeared with his project and label Meloppe Records, is giving much to talk about in the international circuit.

He always gives us an energetic sound for the dancefloor but full of emotions to enjoy, a fine and defined composition characterizes a lot the sound of our french partner, we love it and we can say that this ep will not go unnoticed to your ears.

The ep consists of four tracks, one original accompanied by remixes made in Golden Soul.

Macho Cutie as a special touch, and this nordic team beautifies everything they touch, generating a break version of this wonderful theme, but with its cosmic nuances, very friends of the arpeggios to the Giorgio and stellar pad defining a space sound.

The other two tracks go straight to the dancefloor, James Rod and Aleito are in charge of accompanying this great track with the sound of the house, both taking it to their terrain, fast cuts, brilliant arpeggios and an ideal touch for the dancefloor, quality electronica to cover this great track.

We are honored by the entrance of Endrik Schroeder in the owl family!

We discovered this amazing french artist, two years ago, on Zone, label managed by The Hacker. It was, for the owl, an evidence that Endrik collaborates with her.

So, after several wonderful remixes, we are very happy to present you the first release of our friend Endrik on Mélopée Records. A release that characterizes him perfectly, carried by a cosmic atmosphere and seeming to be inspired by Jean Michel Jarre himself...

The first original "Reboot Robot" is the best summary of Endrik's talent. Everything is here... Perfect cutted rhythm, scatching percussions and the secret of this artist : the beauty of the pads and leads , close your eyes, it's time to go through the milky way !

With "Hypnotron", Endrik proves that he's also able to go outside to his comfort zone. The track breathes new life into house, bringing a celestial environment to this style thanks, once again, to wonderful pads that transport the listener to the depth of his mind.

The trio Leitstrahl complete the release with a perfect vintage remix of "Reboot Robot", more punchy. The soul of the original is preserved but we recognize without a doubt the power of the Italo "Leitstrahl" touch !

To close this amazing release, we are proud to include a remix of "Hypnotron" by the only one ROTCIV ! As soon as the first notes begin, we feel that the trip is going to be fabulous ! The music never stops escalating up to the end, raising people's consciousness again and again to a state of melancholy and perfectly linked bliss...

After the success of Astroloop's Ep “Right Before” released on Nothing is Real imprint, Latido releases his new Ep "Let Their Minds Wander”, a two original tracks Ep with two amazing remixes from the bosses Niv Ast and Lauer.
The creation of this Ep was inspired by a dream of Gabriel Lori (aka Astroloop) after he was playing somewhere in the desert at the sunrise. The final result is an Ep which will moves your body and mind through a delicious cocktail of house, acid and psychodelia of XXI century.
The Ep ends with a version of "The Recondite Shapes of Your Dreams" by the invincible Lauer. In this remix the beats per minute of the original track are accelerated, to turn it into a delicious meandering as well optimistic piece with Balearic ingredients, an organic bass line, and a winner piano line.
