"The Jolisa EP marks a significant shift in Luca dell’Orso’s sound. Although the electric hooks and rolling rhythms that characterise the dutchman’s signature style are still present, new avenues are explored. One notable change is the addition of vocals, care of the EP’s namesake: Jolisa. The opening, “Sixteen”, smoulders with a palpable intensity. Steady beats and textured pads support synth stabs as impassioned vocals recant a tale of past lessons. “Reach Out”, on the flip, is a different animal. Big and daring, chords chug next slicing snares while lyrics brim with hope. Two instrumental works balance the four tracker. “Nighttime” is perfectly sculpted with a soulful melody and clean percussion, vocoder lyrics giving a sorrowful slant to track. A true epic closes: “Tomorrow’s Already Here.” Bold keys and racing rhythms collide in this 80s steeped extravaganza, electro-disco and car chases in this incredible end. A defining EP from Luca dell’Orso."

New idea over at the Riotvan HQ: release music just digitally. Let that be four releases every year. To make it more fun, let’s have each of these annual releases carry an artwork by the same designer that together arrange to an even bigger picture. And let’s start the whole cycle right here right now with Italian duo Hard Ton and an irresistible post-Italo-trans-Indiedisco-anthem called 'Under This Fantasy'. And yeah, to top things of, let’s have Jorkes transform that tune into a deeper affair cut out for rather shadowy dancefloors. Said and done.

The reference number 73 and our first reference of this year 2022 comes signed by the great Myrddin, from France this fantastic composer delights us with an ep full of eighties and cosmic sounds, with his unique touch, and is that Myrddin since he appeared with his project and label Meloppe Records, is giving much to talk about in the international circuit.

He always gives us an energetic sound for the dancefloor but full of emotions to enjoy, a fine and defined composition characterizes a lot the sound of our french partner, we love it and we can say that this ep will not go unnoticed to your ears.

The ep consists of four tracks, one original accompanied by remixes made in Golden Soul.

Macho Cutie as a special touch, and this nordic team beautifies everything they touch, generating a break version of this wonderful theme, but with its cosmic nuances, very friends of the arpeggios to the Giorgio and stellar pad defining a space sound.

The other two tracks go straight to the dancefloor, James Rod and Aleito are in charge of accompanying this great track with the sound of the house, both taking it to their terrain, fast cuts, brilliant arpeggios and an ideal touch for the dancefloor, quality electronica to cover this great track.

We are honored by the entrance of Endrik Schroeder in the owl family!

We discovered this amazing french artist, two years ago, on Zone, label managed by The Hacker. It was, for the owl, an evidence that Endrik collaborates with her.

So, after several wonderful remixes, we are very happy to present you the first release of our friend Endrik on Mélopée Records. A release that characterizes him perfectly, carried by a cosmic atmosphere and seeming to be inspired by Jean Michel Jarre himself...

The first original "Reboot Robot" is the best summary of Endrik's talent. Everything is here... Perfect cutted rhythm, scatching percussions and the secret of this artist : the beauty of the pads and leads , close your eyes, it's time to go through the milky way !

With "Hypnotron", Endrik proves that he's also able to go outside to his comfort zone. The track breathes new life into house, bringing a celestial environment to this style thanks, once again, to wonderful pads that transport the listener to the depth of his mind.

The trio Leitstrahl complete the release with a perfect vintage remix of "Reboot Robot", more punchy. The soul of the original is preserved but we recognize without a doubt the power of the Italo "Leitstrahl" touch !

To close this amazing release, we are proud to include a remix of "Hypnotron" by the only one ROTCIV ! As soon as the first notes begin, we feel that the trip is going to be fabulous ! The music never stops escalating up to the end, raising people's consciousness again and again to a state of melancholy and perfectly linked bliss...

Escaped Records returns with a new release, fruit of the collaboration with Bobby Terrestrial from Welsh Street Heat and label manager Jarod Esc. Venus EP is composed of two edits, digging deep into forgotten Vietnamese Italo Disco tracks. Both artists partnered on this EP whilst residing in the paradise surroundings of Hoi An, Vietnam. 

Made of 2 tracks, dance floor fillers, with the light touch of carefully crafted synthesiser sounds along with other elements distinctive of the 80’s era. The first track “Venus” embarks the listeners to a flashback into time, revisiting the iconic anthem sprinkled with Vietnamese vocals. The second track of the EP “Just A Boy” focuses on delivering a tight synth melody for the late night movements that sway to the reverberated sounds of the 80’s"

PREMIERE : Jared Esc X Bobby Terrestrial - Just A Boy

Mighty started his musical career in the early 1990s as member of the legendary Hamburg HipHop band Poets of Peeze from which German HipHop groups like Fettes Brot, Der Tobi & das Bo and Fünf Sterne deluxe were evolving. In the early 2000 years he teamed up with Mainz local Sven Cherouny to record their Mombasa EP in Tobitob's Sauna Lab in Hamburg.
2016 he joined Fettes Brot again during their "Gebäck in the days" concerts in Hamburg and since 2017 he helps his "teenage love" Italo Disco to boost into the 21st Century producing Synthwave tracks under the name "Machia & Velli". He finally sent Bungalo Disco a bunch of great tracks wherefrom four of them finally formed his debut EP „Discorsi“. It ́s co-produced by Tobitob.
Besides the four original tracks there are remixes by Moonbootica, Deomid and Italo Brutalo.

RNT welcomes Brooklyn-based band 79.5 to the family with the first single from their forthcoming eponymous LP. Soulful and psychedelic, the haunting melodies of Club Level float above a steady strutting rhythm section, punctuated by moaning baritone saxophone and drenched in washy reverb.

NYC mainstay Eli Escobar crafts a masterful remix that leans into 80s nostalgia, with a soundscape and arrangement nothing short of perfection.

We’re delighted to welcome italian producer Alberto Melloni on Ulla Records ! With his EP “Scaleno”, he displays the wide array of his production game, going from new beat to italo and synthwave, through 3 original tracks, supported by two remixes from Tech Support and Plexi Glass.
The eponymous opening track, “Scaleno”, sounds like an ode to the new beat era, with its punching drum beat, wild sound effects and slamming stabs. Then comes “Blonde”, entwining synths and pads, layed over an heavy rhythm section, the soundtrack to your night spree through the city. Finally, we’re having an uplifting ending with
“False Piste”, an explosion of vibrant melodies, navigating somewhere between italo and synthwave.
We also wanted some ace remixers on board, so we asked London based Tech Support to put his magic hands on “Blonde”. He delivered an intense, heavy, club-ready remix, with its hypnotic groove and dreamy layers of synths.
Then we have newcomers Plexi Glass, hailing from Rennes, who decided to pace it up on “False Piste”, unleashing frantics drums and galloping basslines, making for a supercharged remix.
