It is called the Age Of Consent  (AOC)remix due to its twangy reverence to Peter Hook and New Order.

this is "Displacement?" very last song, and my very last time at playing the Bass guitar and any further music at all it was a project from Phil lockhart and Bridget Kyle Gray ( with Glynn Jaine on keyboards on "beside")Bridget and Glynn are from the very fine Scottish electro group "Destination". I love the two songs we have done together "Displacement?" and Beside, they sound like no other , very original and captivating, I would like to thank Sam Wale of www.samwaleproductions, Rob Harvey from phoenix fm radio brentwood Essex, Sue Ryder Padget from the BAS festival organisation and also Mr Berni Best for doing such amazing videos on youtube for us

 I knew my arm surgery and uncompromising nature was bringing my time in "Among the echoes" to an end , and I was trying to branch out.
  I was desperately chasing a "B" side for the song "Displacement?" that myself and Bridget had done together, I very nearly succeeded.

Besides Instrumental

after Society with Ian wall, I joined a band called The Press darlings.  had 2 years of fun...recorded 3 demos and played about a hundred gigs...including Frieburg in Germany...this track was one of the first we wrote together, as Sandra and John had a very healthy back catalogue of superb songs....Dave the drummer and myself wanted to stamp our influences into the band...this song became our greatest asset...  

The Presss Darlings- HATE

this is track 2 from our 2nd demo recorded by and at Rich Bitch studios,in selly oak , Birmingham.  it was a freebie as Lynne the owner used to hear us rehearse...her bathroom was right above our rehersal room...and she liked our sound.......Alvin Stardusts guitarist recorded and mixed the tracks, but we asked Lynne if her son could remix them...and here is one of them....more to come...the picture included is of the band in Freiburg in Germany just before our gig...I loved the graffiti and took the opportunity for a band photo....romeo had Juliet and Juliet had her romeo s....how very apt..........lol

mr Rob Harvey is a DJ on Brentwood fm a London based radio station. Rob is a Massive supporter of synth and upcoming great new bands, his radio show is now on a Thursday night, he plays a great mix of new and vintage music, his enthusiasm for new music is seemingly endless, he is a superb fella .....I did this "Donut" a radio term for a kind of intro just for him....well he asked nicely and there was a few  bass guitar ideas recorded that were not going to be used by "Among the echoes", the band I was playing in at the time....so Sam Wale , genius producer and myself did this just for Him........thanks Rob for supporting everyone , without You, a lot of great music goes sadly unheard. 

Donut Phil

the year was 1986. me , tracey and pete decided to form a band...unfortunatelly we couldnt play or sing. so we bought a big amp a bass guitar and a rythmn guitar and distortion pedal...then saved up for a roland tr 55 drum machine for £30. We all loved the marychain , joy division and the stooges...we practiced for 18 months and came up with about 30 songs...it was called "coldwave " . i should know , as my indoor toilet froze that winter. We never got to play live as i bottled the offer and didnt tell the others...sorry pete......tracey passed away a year ago sadly and therefore these songs are in memory of all the good times we shared and all the great bands we got to see ll ...thanks to Mogadon fog for awakening me to legion once more and for his cool graphics and support.

09 the family

recorded in nottingham , late dec 1986....still  think this song is cool ...a very emotive lyric by tracey. The youtube link provided above is done by mogadonfog and its superb...the photos are from the area we lived in at the time and i still remember it looking that way.

LeGion -no relative -live recording

these recordings are from the very first band i was in in 1986...unfortunatelly we didnt have any instruments or musical knowledge whatsoever...but we did love the marychain joy division and the velvet underground....we lasted 18 months and recorded about 30 songs and had great fun.
i have been in two other bands   society with ian wall and the press darlings...playing bass in both bands.
I am no longer playing bass in the band  Among the echos who are on soundcloud
