Found this on an old CD in a box labeled "For Later" in my dad's attic. I believe it's the recording of a summoning ritual. It really freaked me out, and I'm hoping someone can tell me what it is.

My remix for the Paper Skies X Nasko 72-hr-beat battle. I did it in 5. These guys were too kind to my remix, as this definitely wasn't my best work. Still, it was fun to pump this one out to see what I could do!

I haven't produced as much music this year, as I have in the past few years, but that's OK: I've been working on lore for the fantasy series I've been dreaming about writing for a very long time.


This EP was written a few years ago (2021/2022). I had worked to try to get it released on a label, but nothing ever really aligned for it. My skills have increased since that time, so I didn't think it was fair to try to put this out when there are better songs on the horizon. (In fact, I was a bit embarrassed by it...)


But, I also don't think it's fair for complete ideas to never see the light of day. The ideas presented here are from my brooding in some of the darkest days of my life, during COVID. The feelings are mostly of despair and grief. Also, I tried to emulate the "Milton Cleans" tone made famous by Tesseract, as I really enjoyed their take on ambient guitar, and still like to pepper it in my music where I can.


By releasing this to the world, I am checking off a box from my bucket list that I've meant to for a long time. It's experimental, and largely unmastered (and poorly mixed), but I'm still proud of it. It paved the way for the sound that I've been embracing since last year. Give it a listen and let me know what you think!

Introspectre [Full EP]

I'm relatively new to the dubstep genre, and this is among the few experiments that I've been working on for the past couple of weeks. I'm not particularly impressed with the mastering and EQing on this one, but I'm hoping that the bass is at least filthy enough. I was also experimenting with some "metalstep" -- a cross between metal and dubstep (you'll hear it at about 1:40). It's one of my best tracks so far -- but I have a lot of growing room yet. Leave me a comment, tell me whatchya think.

Oh yes, and this is also the first song that I'm submitting to SoundCloud. Hopefully it's a good one!

Reflections

This is a track that me and DJ FiendØ worked on for the better part of two months, for Newgrounds' own Robot Day 2010. This is about as good as the mastering has gotten, so enjoy! Features some pretty dirty bass, if I do say so myself...it took a lot of listening to other artists and comparing to get it down the way I wanted it. I'd say I'm getting closer to that sound that I want. Many thanks goes out to DJ FiendØ, who was an excellent collab partner. Expect more collab tunes from us in the future!

An experiment in that brosteppy vowel sound. I've always liked this sound intersticed with a deeper, reesier, or all-around more brutal tone. Yes, it's short, but it's only a snibbit.

It has been a while, hasn't it? Well, here's a (short) track I've been working on over the past couple of days, with my main focus on balance and mix. For some reason unknown to me, the file's mastering and smoothness changed when I uploaded it here, so if something sounds off (such as the formant bass making a weird "jump" or the track "skipping"), it's from Soundcloud, not me. I think this mix is decent, but not yet perfect. The bass too (both sub and wobble) is still not as present as I would like, and really not all that professional-sounding. It's no wonder Americans get a bad rap when it comes to producing dubstep...but I'm ferociously trying to get there, my friends!
