With Rosa Anschütz’ LP Goldener Strom picking up widespread praise, BPitch presents the first instalment of remixes from Ellen Allien and Métaraph. The album will undergo a transformative process, with several remix packages reimagining Rosa’s stunning works due for release in the coming months.

Ellen sprinkles a little Allien magic on ‘Their Blood’. Piston-driven beats pulsate alongside a stirring backdrop of gnarly synth work and Rosa’s unmistakable voice. Midway through, she incorporates a huge, melodramatic breakdown that sets the tone for the second half of this thrilling interpretation.

In the past year, the prototype version of ‘’Their Blood’’ became an absolute festival staple among Ellen’s selection and a secret sensation for crowds all over the globe. In its final form, it is to be finally unleashed upon all.

 Schacke transmits a 4 track EP of erotically charged techno, pulsing with soundscapes & textures that evoke at once both the interior of the body and the inner workings of the universe’s hive-mind, vocal samples haze into orgy, sweeping walls of noise are punctuated by trance-influenced melodies, buoyed by a rhythm track that is as playful as it is relentless. 
Schacke has been a pivotal figure for the current Copenhagen techno scene, having run the Moral Defeat label from the underground hub that is Mayhem, his roots in punk and noise music define an energy and intrigue to his production that is singular.

Haven’s fourth release in their white label series continues its focus on dance-floor-ready madness with the label’s second VA compilation on ‘Sardonic Tonality Vol. 2’, this time with four newcomers to the burgeoning imprint.

The A1 launches the release with ‘Step Out’ from mysterious duo ‘Taken Name’. With razor-sharp sound design, bass-heavy synth work, and sinister atmospheres this certified banger is already proving its ability to get bodies moving. Following on the A2 is a hazy smasher from Copenhagen resident and TRTLNCK co-founder Riesenfeld, featuring epic synth lines and emotive pads while being propelled forward by its rolling drum work in a perfect example of what draws people to the sound of the Danish capital.

The B-side begins with a true weirdo slammer from Ryan James Ford. With its pounding kick, drum breaks, ominous melody and peculiar atmospherics it provides the perfect ingredients for a hectic club weapon. The release closes with a creepy, drugged-out banger from US producer Julien Andreas. Malevolent vocals, pulsing bass, crunchy drums and bizzaro sound design combine in another dance-floor-ready trip to close another potent collection from Haven.

With “As We Were Saying”, Bassiani resident Héctor Oaks presented his first full-length album. Two years later it’s time to share a new take on Oaks’ vision of rave culture. He brings together an intimate selection of fellow artists and the result is ‘often plus, never minus’ through and through.
DJ Stingray starts off with a dismantled version of “Forwarded State of Evidence”, he keeps the vocals and contrasts them with a metallic beat. Berlin’s Somewhen is next on A2 with a dancefloor-oriented version of “Is Imminent“, originally the opener of the album, now sped up and reworked.
Flipping to the B-side, things get deep: what’s striking about “Re-Improved Motto“ is how Voiski (a fellow Bassiani resident) has kept the beautiful melody of the original and steered it towards acid. Parrish Smith’s remix of “After All She Had No Reason To Stay” pushes through the darkness with a fast beat. Tribal drums and a luring melody complement the EP with “Horoom Reclusion” in a remix by Georgian artist Zesknel.
All in all, BASRMX01 has you think of sweaty club nights and pumped up dancefloors. If the cast of this remix EP was a line-up, you would definitely want to show up to the party.

B2 Hector Oaks - Afterall, She Had No Reason To Stay (Parrish Smith Remix)

We are pleased to present TSEKHI's second Various Artists Album which combines the works of five Georgian artists, with individual emotion and sounding. 

"Ukkunny" is one of the founders of "TSEKHI" and the other four artists were selected from the contest, which was announced in order to find and popularize new local artists.
