The initial spark of creativity resides deep within us like a seed, waiting for water and warmth before germinating into a floral wonder. Our next guest is a rather fine gardener in this sense, having cut his teeth for 10 years in the Berlin underground before flourishing into the internationally renowned artist he is today. At this point, Rødhåd is an artist who hardly needs an introduction. Launching his party series-turned-label Dystopian in 2009, he undoubtedly helped facilitate the musical landscape of modern-day Berlin with his uncompromising vision of techno. Known for his infectious smile and ginger personality, he has won many hearts and minds with his selections and productions ever since his humble beginnings. 

With his new label, WSNWG, he has entered a new chapter of collaborative synergy and fluid audio-visual exploration, releasing his first full-length ambient album MOOD as well as tracks with Ø [PHASE], Lady Starlight, and Antigone among others. It is in this spirit that we have asked him for a contribution to Unrush, and his mix does not disappoint. Clocking in at just over an hour, it takes us through sweeping valleys of sound, whispers of content, and everything in between. So let yourself burst through the soil of inner turmoil and unlock your buried visions with this impeccable mix...

Bassiani resident Hamatsuki and Tel-Aviv based selector Anna Haleta team up for the latest MUSAR Show episode, delivering a two hours b2b adventure of hybrid electronic sounds, melodic electro, futuristic textures and fuzzy acid.

Hamatsuki has become a Horoom staple, perfecting a formula that reliably keeps a crowd of avid ravers in his fold. The DJ/producer is known for his fresh melodies and deep futuristic, contemplative segues, incongruent rhythms and auspicious flair to his exploration of sound.


Born in Ukraine, and based in Tel-Aviv since mid 90's, Anna started to organize raves in Jerusalem under Pacotek, a project that literally shaped the underground scene of Israel.
Standard is not what defines Anna Haleta's sound and her technique behind the decks. She has made some waves with her sets at Closer, Tresor and Berghain, forming eclectic blends from House, Electro to Breakbeat while always containing a high-energy club attitude along the way.

Here in Tbilisi, DJ/Producer Beka Wu is cutting a dash as versatile new kid on the block. Fast becoming a favourite on the local scene, his two careers (one as fledgling music maker, second as light designer) give his sound a unique palette for space that reverberates both figuratively and physically. Think Basic Channel plus a few BPMs for dancefloor consumption and take Bassiani Podcast 149 as a case in point: this one’s effortlessly chill, a prime selection of quivering and groovy cuts to add to the podcast catalogue. Local selector and Horoom resident Dito Chikovani delivers a perfect dose of blissful house for Bassiani Podcast 180. His trade is intimate and done by feeling, mood being key to his dancefloor dialogues, no doubt helped by an impeccable taste for records that lends a hint of the unexpected to his work on the decks. A member of New York City’s Georgian diaspora, 98dots (aka Nikoloz Gedevanishvili) is an expert in the art of getting a crowd moving. This is one of the freshest names to have come out Georgia in recent times, a slick mover whose confident selections are the makings of dancefloor legend. Aside from occasional DJ outings for The Lot Radio, you can also sometimes find him at The Big Apple’s hottest clubs and back on home turf at Horoom.
