A look back at Philippa Pacho’s profound performance in our Room 01 at the positivesource showcase, which she co-founded hand in hand with Blue Hour. The Stockholm-born artist delivered a knife-edged vision to techno during a two-hour memorable set at her imprint night in Fuse.
 
Like a gentle hold, Philippa's narration is as tactile as poignant. Dark without being obscure, musing yet energetic, no one can doubt the decade of musicality that has flowed through her veins ever since. Drawn to sharp kicks or a few clipped vocals here and there, Philippa Pacho's mix is an invitation, or even more an exploration, to a complex and appealing inner world. A stand-out.

Either solo-flying or going B2B as No Life Signal with fellow ://aboutblank resident THNTS, the German DJ champions a sound both intensely trippy and cutting-edge to the core. Working her way across a versatile gamut of rhythmic signatures and cross-pollinated ambiences, ranging from propulsive electro wares to slashing UK breaks, no doubt the two hours ahead shall be a mind-expanding treat thru and thru.

Nihad Tule is a DJ/Producer who likes to wear many hats, as solo artist (Nihad as well as Velež) and as part of collaborative projects Taken (with Elias Landberg) and NTTR-909 with Roseen (with a recent release on Tar Hallow). They’re all techno but each with a distinct flavour. The key ingredient they share is an unvacillating curiosity that typically has him experiment with his collection of hardware and allow himself to channel whatever weird sequences the moment provides. Much like his work behind decks, his sound is tailored for long-haul raving: a maverick mix of frugal bleeps and layer upon layer of rhythmic passion. His self-run label Sloboda is the place to look for the aforementioned. And here comes another. Bassiani Podcast 193 is all gas, no brakes.
