The PFI Series will feature periodic mixes exploring inspirations drawn upon via my long-standing love of melodic/organic house & techno.

The 8th Episode clearly suggests where my musical taste is going – a mix between old and new tunes, blended together in a new and dynamic way. I believe that Music is the ultimate art, it comes straight out from the Source for a self-introspective journey to express a specific moment in someone's life.

I hope you guys draw inspiration from it or at best, find your self-exploration journey!

Jacopo aka Bassi J, Italian by birth, turned into a global citizen through his wanderings.
He started mixing in Hangzhou, China in 2012. He banded together with a group of students and created UAi - Urban Art Ideas - a concept of parties that would involve both art & music. He has an incredible ear for music and his thoughtful, layered DJ sets consistently demonstrate control over the pace of his craft, and this skill will allow any melancholic shade of house music to flourish with enthusiasm. The end result is just as suited for a nightclub dance floor as it is in leisure time at home.
