Bassless Ideas' first EP, "Back to Bass-ics", was recorded at Shenanishack Studios in wonderful Springfield, Missouri. The sound captures the band's sense of humor and participation in 21st Century pop culture, completely deriving from jam sessions between classes at Missouri State University. The EP also pays homage to the now defunct group, Electrik Riot, which was a band formed by Brian and Kevin in Overland Park, Kansas in 2006.
