They began the year with the magical 'Loto' EP from Kairo and the enigmatic producer returned alongside Siadic for the equally powerful 'Botanical' EP a few months later. The third edition of Obsidian magic arrives in the form of 'Shapeshifter' EP, concocted by another Canadian wizard emerging from the shadows, Thuja. 
Thuja conjures up three spellbinding tracks born from darkness and none is more potent than today's premiere, 'Welcome To The Party'.

I've said it before but the Locus Sound crew and myself are like two peas in a pod when it comes to our taste in this particular sphere of music. It was only a couple of weeks ago I featured Cel in a mix for the first time and lo and behold, the New Zealander immediately appears on the label for his debut project! For me, Cel's style slots somewhere between the dark experimental feel of Gantz and the crucial dubstep sounds of fellow Locus roster member Crowley, so you just know this is must listen material. Three original tunes feature on 'Choke' EP, but today I have the pleasure of presenting the bonus free download - a vocal version of 'D.T.T.T', featuring the legendary vocals and flow of MF Doom!

The fellas at LDH Records have certainly kept themselves busy since it's inception mid 2020. If the latest vinyl exclusive from Zygos wasn't enough, the Liverpool based label keep the tunes rolling this week with a digi three tracker from Dedicut! Although Dedicut's appearances have been limited in recent years, 'Bump' EP displays some of the one hundred degree heat he's been sitting on, including today's premiere, 'Grey'.
