Minneapolis has delivered several artists to the techno world, but back home in the city, Centrific is regarded as one of the godfathers. DJing throughout the Midwest for nearly two decades, he's also been throwing some of Minneapolis’ best parties with various collaborators, under the name Intellephunk, for 25+ years. And he is just as likely to be seen up front dancing in front of the speakers as he is behind the decks.
As a DJ, Centrific can be called upon in many situations. Whether producing darker warehouse techno at one of his Intellephunk parties, or deep funky house at his open air Communion Sundays events, he lays down a hypnotic groove designed to lead the listener into the centrifical vortex…

Our favorite part of this show is getting to sit and talk with some of the most inspiring people we have ever gotten to work with. Im happy to share with you that during the interview and Q&A portion of this upcoming episode we will not only get to pick CENTRIFICS brain, but we also have the amazing JASMINE SEULING (©klasic_girl_) joining us. She is an integral member of THE GREAT BEYOND, INTELLEPHUNK and COMMUNION MINNEAPOLIS projects and has continued to make a massive impact on our scene.

Jasmine and Steve have been a power couple in our scene for over two decades and together have helped make some of the most hypnotic musical and visual creative spaces in the midwest. They have been supporting so many local Producers, DJs, Visual artists and Sound Engineers by giving them the tools and a space to express themselves.

This program’s mission is to create a space for artists to tell their story. The BASSment has been a place for so many artists to feel free to play music they may not normally get to play out. During the interview segment the guest artist will get to talk about where they have come from, things they are working on and where they would like to see themselves going in the future. There will also be a Q & A segment led by questions submitted by listeners and followers of the channel.

Amphibian is putting Czech Republic on the map, where in just a couple years, they have included tracks by notable artists such as CRAVO, A.Morgan, and Pink Concrete.

Berlin-based Gannein and BFVR combine for a track on the 'Swamp Motions II' VA for Amphibian. With a shared back catalogue that has seen them release on Florian Meindl's FLASH, Electric Rescue's Skryptöm, Pushmann's N&N Records, Grab the Groove, and Synergie, the pair certainly know how to create quality music.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Uncle Punch" with a hypnotic and sci-fi sound. Fluttering textures and a muted, stabbing synth melody meet a jackin' and raw groove for an analogue track that hits all the right corners of the mind.
