just an idea i've had up on the modular for a couple weeks.  left it for days and came back with it in a bit of disarray, figured i'd  log the idea anyway. the trigger riot is playing the fender rhodes samples from the nebulae, which is in 1-shot mode.  the bass is from a DPO and the other filtered sound is an e350. there's a large dose of electro-harmonix memory man and valhalla reverb to round things out.

An example of why I love modulars.  Part 1 is a patch I made and recorded a couple weeks ago.  I liked the patch so much, I kept it but began to modify it, trying to make it "better".  Pretty quickly I was making drastic changes, taking it in a different place that it was previously.  That's Part 2.
I could keep messing with this patch for weeks and get different, yet related sounds from it.  Love that.

Part 1

It started as a beat-centric, electro patch to test my new DIN sync cable (Analog 4 <-> modular) and a few happy accidents later became this spacey, shimmering little thing.

The flurried, organ-like voice is the Mutable Tides Parasite in osc mode. Bassline from Make Noise DPO.  Piano-ish sound at the end from the Analog4. Lots of effect density from Memory Man and Space pedals.
