Basstation Social Music is a non-profit project funded by homonymous company that has been promoting techno culture in Sardinia since 2004. It's dedicated to transform the local nightlife landscape, with the aim of creating a safer, healthier and more inclusive nighttime environment. This effort is carried out jointly with "Safer Night Goals", an organization committed to mitigating eventual adverse effects and to implement policies within our nocturnal realm. 

In support of this cause, Basstation Social Music is launching a CHARITY COLLECTION to honor the memory of artist and friend Mezmeric, who recently passed away. The label always strives to innovate, while bringing on board the most talented producers from the underground contemporary techno scene.

space•cast 016 comes from Amsterdam-based Italian techno artist, BMBMND. We first came across him via his stunning mix for MONUMENT, the peerless Norwegian crew he has worked closely with since 2019, and are delighted to welcome him to the series. 

Here he presents a mix of deep and melancholic tracks with ambient-dub-techno influences. The sequence of tracks takes us through different techno scenarios with deep, considered atmospheres connecting one to another. From the unconscious to the conscious and back again.

We’ve got a very special one this week! We’re absolutely thrilled to present Vision 014 w/ APRS.

@apresberlin is a Berlin-based DJ and producer from France. As a co-founder of the techno-focused collective low-pass, he actively fosters the local rave scene while also championing both local emerging talents and internationally renowned DJs such as nthng or Eric Cloutier. This time, he embraces ambient and neo-classical sounds for his new podcast with Blurry Vision, where we can explore a more introspective and intimate side of him. 

When asked about how he came up with this beautiful podcast, APRS shares, “In my sets and productions, I often use cinematic elements. I like when beautiful sounds are distorted and damaged in a way that its character stands out. It feels real to me. I made this podcast with Ableton; I started layering sounds that inspired me, and from there, I let intuition guide my experimentation."
