Sergio Bas was born in Asturias (Spain). His passion for music since he was young promted him to be influenced by artist such as Front 242, Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, Chromeo, Lil’Louis, 95 North, Larry Heard, Derrick May, Adonis, Kevin Saunderson, Todd Terry, Phuture, Halo Varga, Gene Farris, Inner City, Fingers Inc, Slam, Joey Beltram... and musical styles such as Techno, Acid House, Detroit Techno, Electronic, Pop Electronic...

  His first contact with music begins in 1996 when he steps into electronic music clubs in Asturias, Galicia and León, but it was in 1998 when this young begins to be interested in vinyl records world and mixing, mainly marked by his musical influences, performing his first sets at rave parties, as well as night clubs. Step by step and without stopping of improving his techniques, it is in 2000 when he starts to set out his works in Asturian clubs and he started to be resident in many clubs of the region. He also worked as an event promoter at different night clubs.

  His sets are full of surround beats and great grooves that he always uses the greatest feeling at the dance floor. He is a versatile dj that moves through a great variety of music repertoire, sharing the possibility to create sets that fulfills different tastes, mastery, techniques and a good style, all these characteristics are remarkable at Sergio Bas, his eagerness of progress with his music and keep on going into electronic world music.

 Sergio Bas has been in many diferent night clubs sharing the control cabin with national and international Dj’s of important music labels from the electronic scene such as Tim Baker [Elephanthaus-Chicago], Ray Okpara [Cecille/Area Remoto/Oslo], Jesús del Campo [Gsustech Recs], Víctor Santana [Chaval Records], Affkt [Sincopat/Monofunk], Tapia Ramon [100% Pure/Great Stuff], Los Suruba[Suruba/Monofunk], Marcos In Dub [Goa/Monofunk], Higinio [Chaman Records], Soulrack y Mikel E [Cray1LabWorks Rec.], Damian Uzabiaga [Mussen/Raccoon/México] ...

 In summer of 2009, Sergio Bas begins with music production and after many years of hard working and learning, he published his first works at Chaman Records label in Spain, called "State of Illinois" at EP Analogic Friends [Chaman025] and “Sunlit” and “Sense” at EP Sunlit / Sense at Code2 Records label in Germany.

 Nowadays, in 2021, he is still learning and he attended different courses about Equalization techniquesat MilHercios Academy and Music Production at Sudbeat label and Aulart Academy.

 Currently, he is doing new musical productions, under his name Sergio Bas, of different styles: Techno, Melodic Techno, ... for different labels of the world, following his own music style.

 He is also working, under his name aka Basswarz, on new sets harder and darker than the ones referred before and these new projects will be presented soon.
