The only track with vocals on Steel City electro-funk wizard Buscrates' second full-length album is "On My Way," where Soraya Watti's smooth and soulful tones prove to be the perfect addition to the Buscrates machine. For his new album "City" (forthcoming on Naim Label) Stuart McCallum steps even further into the world of electronica, whilst still maintaining that magical combination of both acoustic and electronic instruments that gives his music such a distinctive sound.

The guitarist/composer from Manchester made the decision to bring in London-based drummer/producer, Richard Spaven, who he met during his time playing with Cinematic Orchestra. All tracks are co-written by Stuart McCallum and Richard Spaven apart from the title track City, which we so proudly premiere on Soundcloud today.

“Chase It” by Eerf Evil & Kosher and produced by Joe Beard & Outrageous Claims, is the fourth single from The Silhouettes Project.

The Silhouettes Project is a new platform for up-and-coming Hip-Hop, Soul and Jazz artists from the UK. It is not a record label or management team, it is a community project. The Silhouettes Project provides an open space - a recording studio and live venue located within the Total Refreshment Centre in Hackney, London - where MCs, singers, musicians and producers can connect and create.

The Silhouettes Project was founded by community organisers/artists Asher Korner (aka Kosher) and Jaden Osei-Bonsu (Eerf Evil) in 2019. When they told us about the project and played us some of the music we were instantly hooked and joined the collective as label partner. The art direction is executed by Sergio “SagaUno” Alférez, an acclaimed designer and illustrator from Medellín, Colombia.

Starting in September, we release a new single each Thursday from artists like 
Kofi Stone, Summers Sons, Enny, KeepVibesNear, Manik MC, Lex Amor, Louis The Hippie, Summer-Pearl, Joe Beard and many more.

All 15 singles will also be available on one LP towards the end of the year.
