On “Canta el Agua,” Captain Planet taps into the sounds of Colombia’s Pacific Coast, blending Afro-Latin roots with a bass-heavy club vibe. Featuring award-winning group De Mar y Rio, the track transforms their marimba-driven rhythms into a Latin House groove while weaving in Amapiano influences from South Africa—creating a global, dancefloor-ready fusion.

Paying homage to Brazilian funk & boogie, Captain Planet’s “O Xangô” reimagines a samba rock classic from Trio Mocotó, famed for backing Jorge Ben. Stripping away most of the original, he injects heavy bass, disco drums, stabs, and wild synths, creating a euphoric modern boogie banger. The lyrics call to Yoruba deities, with the chorus invoking Xangô—symbol of power, justice, thunder, and lightning.
