In our 40th digital release we present Gazdaru Claudiu Cristian also known as Dubphone - a member of the second wave of music producers from Bucharest, Romania. Currently based in Valencia (Spain), he is busy working on several projects. In the early years he got the chance to play piano and quickly fell in love with music. In the following years his music knowledge and skills brought him to an extreme connection with the electronic style. Encouraged from that, he has already released on labels such as Monique Musique, Inmotion Music, Kosmophono, Sleep is Commercial and Baile Musik. Dubphone drops an EP for Alboratory with two original tracks and two remixes by Dimitri Monev & Dan Noël. "Alfama" has an urban feeling atmosphere with smooth bass line, background fx and children vocal samples that make that track really captivating. In addition to that Dimitri Monev delivers his own interpretation as he keeps some original parts but changes the background atmosphere by his own taste. Low hertz bass line accompanied with well balanced hi-hat section, industrial fragments and creepy synth floating all over the arrangement. The second one is named "Kuala" and sounds really promising with the low hertz filled background and driving bass line which sounds just like vacuum - all surrounded by the reverb elements and echo voices which provide depth to the rhythm of the track. The "Kuala" remix of Dan Noël also contributes to the release due to Dan's own expression and interpretation of the original which makes the track a dance floor bomb!

Alboratory is proud to present its first VA compilation coming out for Christmas. The pack describes the variation of music styles that the label released in the last successful year. It varies from the deeper shades of house music to the techno with dub and blues influences. Our main target is to promote the artists in proper and significant way. We are happy that we have had the opportunity to give an initial start to several good artists all over the globe. We move forward without cheating on our philosophy while keeping the tempo as well as always showing you the bright side of the underground music. My old buddy Norwood Soul Patrol has invited me to record an eclectic mix for Rinse FM of the kind of music that I listen to at home. I dug through the shelves and put together an hour of summery vibes ranging from jazz, soul, afrobeat, funk, Brazilian and a few tracks that defy classification. Rather than mixing beats, this one is mixed purely by vibe; a totally different way of playing that's so much fun. <3
