Jakare, comprising of Italian duo Lo.Renzo & Halfred, continue to deepen their downtempo world fusion offering to the global dance scene. “Chrysalis” presents 4 tracks including various collaborations that span a wide range of emotions and energies while remaining true to the euphoric, energizing Jakare sound throughout. The chrysalis is a symbol of transformation, of the passage into new phases of existence after periods of crisis. The caterpillar must go through a phase of helplessness and disintegration in order to reborn in its most majestic form. The creation of this collection of music is the manifestation of a need to deepen the connection to the inner self through these challenging last years. The POAN Collaborations EP is a journey into musical kinship. It is a project spawned from the idea that we can create so much more potent art when we come together and combine our strengths to create something that we could never create on our own. These collaborations were birthed out of the musical genius of Lorenzo Mantovani of the ambient instrumental project POAN (his project with Giacomo Barbari). Lorenzo put together seven different loop packs using his wide range of instruments which were then passed on to these producers to create something totally new out of the recordings. Each track takes on a whole new life of it’s own with the unique beat driven approach of each individual producer. The collaborations range from high energy dance tracks to deep hypnotic introspective journeys with everything in between. May this collaborative effort be a testament to the potency of coming together as a collective musical family.

Bastet is a new project between electronic music and tribal fusion belly dance. Navak is the producer and rain is the dancer. 
The project was born at the beginning of 2014 in a town called Monopoli close to Bari (south Italy.
