It was such a joy to close the summer at this dream of a festival - the people, the location, the weather and of course the music! What an honour to be part of such an amazing lineup alongside so many of my favourite artists. Thankyou Mystic Creatures!

Mystic Creatures Festival: what a stunning way to end summer!

Amazing vibe, lovely crowd, top-notch music and a breathtaking location: definitely one to remember!
Here's my set from the Mystic Ground stage on Sunday from 13-14.30. The merciless heat boiled most of the dancers, myself and one CDJ during my set - but the despite the temperature and the technical issues it was really a fun one.

Thanks to the Mystic crew for creating something so unique and for inviting me to play, thanks to my super supportive friends from Copenhagen and Milan and to the other dancers that defied the scorching sun, and thanks to everyone who made this weekend so special.

Nach einer scheinbar endlosen Pause, starten wir ab sofort wieder mit unserer heiß geliebten Podcast-Reihe!

Und wer wäre für die erste Abfahrt besser geeignet als der techno-infusierte Coco.

In Berlin treibt er sich nicht nur seit geraumer Zeit als DJ in Clubs wie Sisyphos, Kater Blau, Salon zur Wilden Renate und dem Goldengate rum (um nur einen Bruchteil zu nennen), sondern feiert und organisiert seit nunmehr 21 Jahren seine berühmt-berüchtigte und Underground-orientierte, 36 Stunden Partyreihe „Betriebsfeier“ auf der Berliner Hoppetosse und ist zudem Mitbegründer des Rote Dichte Festivals.

Er selber beschreibt seine Musik als „mental, minimal, groovy, tief und treibend“, angesiedelt „zwischen House und Techno plus Ausuferungen“ und liebt es, Musik zu machen, damit „idealerweise ein friedlicher, magischer Moment entsteht, der uns befreit, an nichts denken, sondern nur gemeinsam fühlen lässt“.

Auch als Produzenten kennt man Coco. 
Zuletzt erschienen ist sein Release „Die Tuer“ auf „as usual music“.

Und welche Themen ihn als Mensch gerade besonders beschäftigen?:
„Wege finden: Vom Individualtourismus zurück zur Gruppenreise.“

Leo stepped into the DJ scene one year ago after completing a FLINTA* DJ Workshop by Donna Decks in Vienna. But despite her short time in the field, it feels like she's been DJing for a dino-decade. Her energy has taken her behind the decks at Melt Festival in Germany, Mystic Creatures Festival in Poland, and mainly clubs & bars in Vienna auch as Sass Music Club & Flucc. An Indie Dance girl at heart, Leo’s sets blend Dark Disco, Italo, and classic Disco beats; a vibe that even creatures from another time and space cannot resist. Of course, Leo’s passion goes beyond dinosaurs – she’s also dedicated to promoting environmental awareness at festivals as part of the Worldtrash Foundation (https://worldtrash.foundation/).

FYI: FLINTA* is a German abbreviation that stands for "Frauen, Lesben, Intergeschlechtliche, Nichtbinäre, Trans und Agender Personen", meaning women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender people. The asterisk represents all non-binary gender identities. To explicitly include queer individuals, the term FLINTAQ is sometimes used, expanding on the FLINTA acronym.
