A declaration of love to legendary Swound Sound, a saturday night mixshow on Austrian radio (Ö3 from 1992 to 1995 and FM4 from 1995 to 2025) which sadly comes to an end in December 2025 after 33 years. :(( The good news are that the legendary recording sessions in Viennese clubs will continue and the mixes also keep on being released on Soundcloud:

Pablo Dutta drops his latest production, ‘Bangla Box’ - a global representation of Bengal’s soundsystem or ‘box’ culture on both sides of the border, with a vocal sampled from a dialogue of a ‘Jatra’, or Bengali folk theatre, which is an integral part of Bengal’s rural ecosystem. 

"Born in Kolkata, Bengali has been my mother tongue, and I feel there is not enough electronic music coming out in regional languages from this side of the country, and I want to represent that and bring this new sound to clubs," he explains.

"I remember working on this track remotely at the end of 2024," he says. "At first I found the idea kind of funny - it sounded so big that I couldn’t decide whether I loved it or hated it, and I kept jumping between two different kick drums so i decided to use both in different areas.
