Back on his very own No More Mailouts, after stepping outside for well-received excursions to both Pineapple Records and 1985, Sir Hiss continues to reshape his beloved Grime through fresh cross-pollination with timeless elements from other genres.

A Side 'Geist' folds in elements of robo-funk atop a classic example of (dubiously named) Sinogrime, while on 'Mothership 100.3', hints of Acid and Electro merge with the hybrid Dark Garage / Proto-Grime styles that bubbled to the surface around 2001-2003, and that still inspire to this day.

A 22-year-old artist based in Paris, Bwi-Bwi began his production career when he was fifteen and is already making waves across Europe with his super-fresh deconstructed style of house. Since 2012, as part of duo M&C, he has a regular slot on Rinse FR, has released solo projects on the likes of Kitsuné and is now an affiliate of Lüüd Discs where this track was originally released on vinyl. His production on ‘Insight’ is well considered and intelligent. Every chord fits neatly into place and a purveying melody gives the track a familiar warmth that feels like coming home.
