Templo Solar is a new music label based between Lima and Berlin. For their first release they prepared a compilation with an impressive line up of Latin American producers (including long-time Basy Tropikalne favourites like Vudufa, Selvagia or Renzo Zong) and an even more impressive cause - all the profits will be donated to the Peruvian NGO called Somos Amazonias which raises funds for the  Amazonian communities affected by the pandemic. First taste of the album comes in a form of 'Dos Caras', a track produced by acknowledged Guatemalan producer Di Laif who paired traditional Latin elements (i.e. flutes and chants) with heavy electronic music sound to obtain captivating and gripping composition.

Emiliano Dietzgen

Mexican DJ and producer, member of Chakanais (CHKNS), an inter-in-disciplinary and multi-dis-functional collective from Mexico City dedicated to produce events and audiovisual materials around music and dance as events. These include the production of parties, the self-publication of a fanzine and the production of radio shows on different platforms.

In his productions and dj sets Dietzgen bets on deep beats and heavy bass as a means to conjure an intense and hypnotic dancefloor. His productions have appeared on labels such as Folcore Records, NOFUTURE, HTS and Cassette Blog. His DJ sets, always energetic and diverse, move between diverse worldly drums, deep bass lines and atmospheres that affirm the enjoyment of the free dance. His sets are clearly influenced by hardrum, kuduro, tarraxo, baile funk, dembow, reggaeton, techno and new underground sounds and rhythms from Latin America and the peripheries of the world. Dietzgen has played on various stages in Mexico City and this year participated as a dj and radio host at Documenta fifteen, in Kassel, Germany, as well as at some gigs in Berlin. He is currently preparing new releases in the realm of the 130 bpm, and some collabs.

Dj y productor mexicano, integrante de Chakanais (CHKNS), colectivo interindisciplinado y multidisfuncional de la ciudad de México dedicado a producir eventos y materiales audiovisuales en torno a la música y el baile como acontecimiento. Entre ellos destacan la producción de fiestas, la autopublicación de un fanzine y la producción de espacios radiales en diversas plataformas.

En sus producciones y dj sets Dietzgen apuesta por los ritmos y bajos profundos como medios para conjurar una pista de baile intensa e hipnótica. Sus producciones han aparecido en labels como Folcore Records, NOFUTURE, HTS y Cassette Blog. Sus Dj sets, siempre energéticos y diversos, se mueven entre tambores de diversos mundos, líneas de bajo profundas y atmósferas de afirmación del disfrute del baile libre. En ellos sobre sale una clara influencia sonora del hardrum, el kuduro, el tarraxo, el baile funk, el dembow, el reggaeton, el techno y los nuevos sonidos y ritmos subterráneos de Latinoamérica y las periferias del mundo. Dietzgen ha tocado en diversos escenarios de la ciudad de México y este año participó como dj y host de radio en la Documenta fifteen, en Kassel, Alemanía, así como en algunas fiestas en Berlín. Actualmente se encuentra preparando nuevos lanzamientos en la estela de los 130 bpm y diversas colaboraciones.

After their 2016 dancefloor burner "Jump," Poirier and Red Fox are pairing up once again for "Pull Up Dat" taken from Poirier's new album "Soft Power." Rooted in a dancehall style, "Pull Up Dat" is full of good vibes with Red Fox confidently leading the dance. Poirier brings a modern touch that relates to the 90's dancehall scene. On the B-side, Patexx is all about delivering an uplifting message with the collaboration "Unity & Strength." As Patexx says at the beginning of the song: "United we stand, divided we fall." Then on the remix tip, young and upcoming producer SIM from Montréal flexes to new heights, turning "Pull Up Dat" into a set-ready banger. 

With his first album dating back to 2001, Poirier is a prolific, creative and eclectic Canadian producer / musician with a 20 year journey of creating music. Constant in his albums and DJ performances is a desire to build bridges between different languages, communities, and cultures. His open, uninhibited musical mind means that his works bend boundaries, resulting in compositions that mix several styles and eras. He has now produced a total of 11 albums and many EPs with labels such as Ninja Tune, Nice Up Records and, more recently, Wonderwheel Recordings. Active in Montreal, his successful monthly dance party Qualité de Luxe is dedicated to African and Caribbean music, attracting crowds for over six years. Poirier is also the man behind Bounce le Gros and Karnival, parties with legendary status in Montreal nightlife history.
