Cologne talent Malugi reminisces chilling with ‘The Homies’ for his debut release presented by Savour The Moment.

Formerly releasing under his birth name, Matteo Luis, Malugi has come a long way to realising his current fun loving sound. Becoming known as a DJ name in Cologne before he was old enough to enter clubs legally, a number of lifestyle moves through Berlin, New York and back again to Cologne have allowed him to explore the breadth of possibilities within dance music today; understanding perceived ‘genre-boundaries’ and with that very knowledge, breaking them down.

The fruits of his experiences now come together on ‘The Homies’ EP. A collection of dancefloor-focused summer energisers, exploring well-loved breaks, acid and electro throughout, whilst also diving into new territories incorporating miami bass elements and a definitive pop lean.
