Nice vibe, it keeps you drawn in, the crackle gets a bit intrusive after a while, it'd be nice if it were a bit more subtle after the initial intro, nice groove. I'd be tempted to try and match the ambience on the synth to the vibe of the other instrumentation and kick could have a little more weight. sounds top though

souljadice is an artist that grew up on the carribean island of sint-maarten, and is currently based in the netherlands. when he was born, hurricane lenny was tearing through his home island.

his bouyon powered debut release comes in the form of ‘hurricane ep’, released on nachtwinkel records. on this body of work he captures all elements of his memories of the hurricanes that would pass through his homeland. 

each track captures a different phase of this thrilling experience: the electric anticipation, the pounding rain, the stillness of the eye of the storm, and the rush of all of these feelings together. with heavy bouyon rhythms, layered drums, and textured atmospheres, hurricane ep channels the pulse of those moments. driven not by fear, but by fascination.
