I've become a die-hard fan of Fred Again ever since his Boiler Room set. Inspired me to fuck around on FL for the last two days, this is what came of it.

Romy & Fred again.. - Strong (REMAKE SNIPPET)

Been stewing on this idea for a remix of this song for a while, decided to take a stab at bringing it to life. Inspired by the Marnie x Faisal mashup from Fred's Boiler Room set. Mixing and mastering is a travesty right now, but some feedback on the overall sound would be much appreciated!

4 project files, 100+ exports, and thousands of tweaks later, I think I've finally created the ultimate remake of this song. Will probably continue to add minor tweaks here and there as I find more details, but this is assembled from every source I could find, mainly the Boiler Room set and @chloerobinsondj's BBC Essential Mix. Very happy with how it turned out, hope it suffices till the real thing drops :)

Download link above contains two versions of the remake: the Boiler Room version (this track) and the "Release" version, which appears to be the official track and doesn't contain the Stormzy sample - it has been played in various other sets. If you want to use this remake for your mixes, I recommend using this second version. I also extended the intro and outro to make it more DJ-friendly.
