Another rough recording of a post-Walken song, jammed out with the band in the post-Walken "Adrian" era. This is an interpretation of that song, with some extra guitar bits in the chorus.

The Way You Look Tonight

I felt bad denying my fans some metal, so I threw this together. It's a combination of a few riffs I have had floating around for years. It's very rough, although I always say that. I'm not much of a soloist.

ChiPet

This idiot melody has been running around my head for a decade now. I need it to go away. This recording is as rough as I get, the three tracks (left, right and solos) recorded in one take. It's lazy, but I need this song gone out of my head. Now. I also rewrote the intro to make it more cock-rock because that's funny. It's funny right? I wrote this at a similar time to Saddest Song, which is why it is called Happy.

Happy

A left over track from my old band Walken that never made it to being played live. This was made up at the same time as the song Blur which did make it into the set. It came about after Heath shouted "Weezer song". Guess how Blur came about? Again I stole the chorus melody from Heath.

Weezer

Back in 2002 Heath and I wrote 33 songs in a day. Some of those songs ended up on the Current Melbourne Temperature EP as One Of These Days and Blue Sky, while others lived and died live only (Give It Up). Others still never went anywhere. I liked this little bit of music. Never been able to do anything with it. There are a few other bits from that day I intend to turn into post-metal things...

Finally got around to recording this riff. Needs drums.

A set of riffs I've had stuck in my head for years. I think it sounds a bit Smashing Pumpkins, so it's my Tribute To Billy. I originally had the idea to end with a big distorted part (like the start of SP's Mayonaise) but I may not bother. Watch this space.
