"Lately I’ve been obsessed by vaporwave, new age jazz, and ambient music. I chalk this up to the fact that I’ve been sort of in the waiting room of my own life for the past couple years. I’ve spent countless hours making playlists for nonexistent schlocky late 90s romcoms, and coming of age flics. Exporting my consciousness into the imagined characters of those stories left me with the impression of balance and progress. “its bath” is a concerted effort to turn my memories of the past couple years into a piece that feels fun, funny, and beautiful. I am ready to leave the waiting room now."
