FR. The Hunt second morceau de l’EP, nous plonge dans une course effrénée. À travers ce morceau Dub Techno, Siwal installe une tension progressive. L’atmosphère y est de plus en plus oppressante, et l’auditeur.ice danseur.euse se laisse happer par cette chasse sans issue. Les percussions organiques répondent aux kicks qui parsèment le morceau sans jamais s'exprimer complètement.  Des mélodies lointaines résonnent, pads et percussions se répondent et amplifient l’attente hypnotique. Une longue introspection s’opère alors, on se laisse charmer par cette scène. Le morceau est déjà fini que nous sommes encore dans cette jungle, béa, presque extatique, encore bouleversés.

ENG. The Hunt, the EP's second track, plunges us into a frantic race. Through this Dub Techno track, Siwal builds progressive tension. The atmosphere becomes more and more oppressive, and the dancer-listener gets caught up in the dead-end hunt. Organic percussion and the kicks answer one another and come punctuate the track, without ever fully expressing itself. Distant melodies resonate, pads and percussions combine to amplify this hypnotic anticipation. A long introspection now takes place and let ourselves be charmed by this scene. The song is already over and we're still in the jungle, blissful, almost ecstatic, still overwhelmed.

Entre breakbeat tendu, lignes de basse rugueuses et samples vocaux hypnotiques, elle signe un morceau downtempo plein de contrastes et sous haute tension.

More French Fries marque la 10ème sortie de Dürüm Records. Une compilation de 15 titres réunissant 19 producteur·rices de toute la France, offrant un savoureux mélange entre hybridations downtempo, envolées progressives, sonorités plus club et rythmiques breakées.

In a flurry of angular beats and space age synth licks, Livity Sound welcomes Willis Anne to the fold under the guise of a new alias, Foreigner. Operating within the thriving scene around his current base Naarm, Anne brings a live, jammed-out focus to machine-rooted electronic performance that translates into his productions. All four tracks on this new EP crackle with improvised energy, whether it manifests in the dramatic synth shapes on 'Last Peoples' or tangled up in the beat exploration on 'Visible'. At its core, the EP makes its mark thanks to the clarity of Anne's ideas as he swerves the temptation to over-work the sound, ringing true with the immediate, spacious approach of Livity Sound's many-side catalogue.
