Initially founded as a solo project by lyricist-song- writer César Márquez in 2006, Bauda takes their influence, both musi- cally and lyrically, from the great landscapes of their homeland Chile to create some mesmerising music that merges beautiful progressive melodies with dark cinematic ambiences.

Márquez have previously recorded an EP entitled “Del Mar Al Aire” in 2006 and a full-length album “Oniirica” in 2009 with the help of session musicians.

It was only in 2012 that Bauda have grown into a fully lined-up group. with the second full-length “Euphoria... Of Flesh, Men and The Great Escape".

The band´s next step was inviting René Rutten from Dutch alternative
rock band The Gathering to produce the album called "Sporelights", this work had great responde for the media like Metal Hammer, Prog Rock. Legacy between others.
