i spent the last week making a BRAT remix album

it includes songs from brat and the extended release but i omitted some songs

★ b2b / club classics, just couldn't get the vibe right when i tried remixing these, the demo of this was a mash-up of the two together though which would have been cool

★ von dutch, literally a perfectly crafted song, wouldn't dare touch it, this song literally and viscerally made me put my hand in the air when i heard it in context of the album like someone at a church lol except i was home in my living room

★ so i, because i'm not about to disrespect so i 

★ 365 / mean girls / hello goodbye / spring breakers, just didn't try these ones because i already had 10 tracks remixed, probably would have been sick though

i was unsure to put 'i might say something stupid' first because i was thinking about how people might not get the vibe of the album and click off the album and then i remembered that's not what it's about so if you stuck around to get to the 360 remix at least, that's cool. 

my favourite of the remixes is maybe 'girl so confusing', 'guess', or '360' but i was unsure about doing the 'girl, so confusing' remix (and then even more unsure about adding my backing vocals to it) because it's for the girls y'know... didn't want to step all over it... but i do really resonate with the lyrics (albeit from a different perspective) because navigating adult friendships is difficult and i often fear of where i stand with friends and idk songs about navigating friendships are kind of rare.... so... idk like i'm just rambling but i hope you get what i mean LOVE the tune LOVE that essex got a shoutout from lorde

i really love the juxtaposed vibe of guess, despite the original having that insane drop that blows my mind, i love that this ends up being this almost sultry, sad grunge-adjacent track

and 360 for me is just the epitome of shredddflanders, perfectly captures the high pitched, buzzy, super compressed, (almost hard to listen to), hyper-quantised shredddie vibe

if you like this i have my own music too, i currently have 6 monthly listeners so, you - as a longtime charli fan, are ahead of the curb as per usual
