Italian-born, London-based DJ/producer Baunz has offered up a new, disco-flecked freebie to help introduce himself to the XLR8R faithful. Fortunately for all of us, Baunz's "Cinderella Curfew" has many of the attributes necessary to make a shining dancefloor cut—including crisp drums, an enticing bassline, and a few tasteful vocal bits. The buzzing synth stabs are a nice touch, too. In truth, Baunz's "Cinderlla Curfew" has enough late-night vibes to it that perhaps "Cinderella Stays Out Past Her Curfew" would probably have made for a more appropriate title.

"Every year Miami WMC is the occasion to hear what's new, and the hot tracks that are gonna be played by most DJs in the following months. Congaloid is still a new adventure, we have released only few records so far, so I felt incredibly excited when we have been asked to host a party during the music week.

To celebrate this, I have compiled a little sampler of what our sound is, imagining these 3 tracks being played at the WMC in different occasions, and we also welcome 2 new artists in the family.

Opening the EP is "Zip Zip" by The Deepshakerz. Our " Alki Bamba" collaboration song has been the first release of the label, with a great feedback, and now the Italian duo is showing how their style changes and evolves, they send me so many good songs I could release an E.P. every month! Simple, jacking &amp; pure grooves.

Diavlo is a good friend, a super good producer, with already a few records under his belt, and his "Profanity" is simply the song that "works" all the time. In my sets this represents the peak time moment, and every time I played it. When that trumpet sample comes in, you see hands in the air.

Last but surely not least is Baunz, another new entry on Congaloid that makes me very excited. "808, Pausetapes &amp; Other Shit" is very different from what we have released so far, but in the moment he visited me in the studio and played this slow gem I was hooked. Sexy is the only word that comes in mind, and a swimming pool party is the perfect occasion to play this. You'll hear more from Baunz on this label... Lots more!

Italian born, London based producer Baunz bought his first sampler in the late  90's, when he started exploring the intricate universe of electronic music. With roots in Italian rave culture, his style has evolved over the years into the first class tech house now synonymous with his name. 

The past year has seen a steady stream of releases from Baunz including Hazardous and The Same Thing (featuring a remix from Huxley) on the ever-reliable More Music imprint, as well as the Shared Dreams EP on Moda Black and dancefloor favourite 808, Pausetapes & Other Shit. Baunz has hit the ground running into 2013 with a release on 2020Vision alongside Maya Jane Coles (featuring vocals from pop chanteuse, Little Boots) as well as remixes for chart favourites Rudimental, for Howson's Groove on London underground label Chasing Unicorns, for MNEK and Tom Aspaul on OnRepeat Records and many more.
