In this interview Belouis (ne: Neville Keighly) talks about his fascinating journey from being a virtually ignored solo artist to recording his first album in 1985 with the likes of Carlos Alomar and Earl Slick (both from David Bowie’s band) as well as Bernard Edwards and Tony Thompson from Chic. That first album would yield two international hits (“Imagination” and the title track “Some People). Belouis talks about the release of his controversial music videos and about being handpicked to support Queen on tour the following year.
