About women’s struggles and rights today. How we are subjected to accept the way the world is with it’s slavery, religion, and stereotypes against women and how things need to change. Women are just as powerful as men, if not more powerful, and this world should reflect that. All around the world, there are women who are forbidden to wear pants, to be educated, and to show their face in public. There are women and children being forced to get married, forced genital mutation, and forced education and non-education. But in America, we would rather sit on face book and twitter all day talking about ‘YOLO’ and ‘SWAG’ instead making a DIFFERENCE in the one life you have! And how the media makes it so hard for women to feel beautiful if they are not 5’7” and a size 000. What if MY dream was to be on America’s Next Top Model? Even for the PETITE season you had to be at LEAST 5’3” with no heels! So what, am I supposed to just ACCEPT that I can NEVER be considered a Model!? I can NEVER live up to the standards of what SOCIETY/THE GOVERNMENT thinks is beautiful? That is not right. To be calling little girls “Barbies” yet they will NEVER grow up to look like that? And even the artist promoting this does not resemble a Barbie in no way fashion or form? Having to spend your whole paycheck on the reconstruction of your ass and face because you’re not fitting the “fad” today? I think this world needs a HUGE CHANGE. And it starts with US. Women and Men should be considered beautiful with what they can offer, their culture, their talents, their drive, their accomplishments, their discoveries.
