Once again, we are honoured to have Matthew Bushwacka aka Just Be back on the label. This time pushing off towards the far boundaries of the after hour experience. As a standard Maison D'etre always tries to explore the less 'obvious' territories and these 2 beautiful pieces are a perfect fit to our catalog.

Lead cut Troubled Soul is a journey into a dreamy landscape, located somewhere in the back of Matthew's mind. The 80's influenced drums and bassline will guide you through it while flashes of electric melancholy, will  light the way. It's an almost 11 minute ride, to be enjoyed in those moments when one is most immersed in it... Head down, with nothing else existing.
 
If the opener is for those moments where nothing else exists, then "Another Late Night" is quite the opposite. It asks you to open you eyes and appreciate everyone and everything around you...(then maybe hug a few people). Epic (almost 90's) synth pads drive this track from beginning to end. Swelling and fading over simple  solid beats. Another beautiful moment. 

In an industry where everybody feels the need to be writing and releasing big and obvious 'Bombs', it's most gratifying to see artists taking a step back and producing from the Soul... however troubled it might be!

Hailing from the Russian city of Murmansk, AL-90 brings an all embracing dance sound perfectly in keeping with the Tape Throb Records ethos of distort, layer and rework. Littered with ghostly vocals and the blurred flush of multi layered beats, infectious bass moves the whole in rhythmic brilliance. The A sides, Cheremushki Groove and Fluid, will bring on dream of 90's VHS house with warm broken beats layered with lush vocal samples. The B side Cataract flies higher with a jungle storm waist deep in ambience and the EP closes with a distorted stomping rework of the title track by label founder The Cyclist.
