Bayuk is the solo project of Berlin based artist Magnus Hesse. The 28 year old wanted to become a movie director but after getting declined decided to dedicate all his creativity to his first passion, music. His 2018 debut album „Rage Tapes“ secured him slots at the Reeperbahn Festival, c/o pop Festival and support shows for Calexico, Me And My Drummer and others. Ray Cokes called it ‚the best album out of Germany in a very, very long time’ at his Reeperbahn Revue. In 2019 Bayuk released a lofi-EP with Wolfskind also leading to two features with WizTheMc. Right now Bayuk is finishing up his second solo album, scheduled for 2021.
