Benny Page, Dope Ammo and DJ Hybrid link up on the latest version of the Jungle Cakes chart topping compilation series ‘Welcome to the Jungle’. With the combined knowledge and experience of 100 copies of ‘All Crews’, these top selectors have put a serious amount of hard work into selecting the tracklist for this release.

Take for example the stone cold Cutty Ranks classic ‘Limb by Limb’. This gets the DJ Hybrid remix treatment whilst maintaining a close relationship with the original lick. Benny Page fires up his VIP remix of ‘Turn Down the Lights’ and Dope Ammo brings forth the Ed Solo remix of ‘Babylon Falling’. That’s just for starters as this release features a total of 55 tracks from a huge selection of big time producers.

During these last years, on their own, they played everywhere in Europe, released tracks on labels such as Multi function, Dub Damage and Impakt Audioz, Dj Baz & Simplistix’s paths have now merged to become one new project: Baz & Simplistix. Crossing the Channel and geographic boundaries, the duo already proved to be unstoppable, playing their debut show at Dour Festival to 10.000 crazed ravers.

Their first collaborative track dropped on Murdock’s Radar Records and received support from London Elektricity, who played it on the Hospital podcast, as well as other high rankers such as Rene LaVice, Joe Ford and…

They have another release scheduled with Radar, this time dropping three tracks at once, showing their versatility.

Rooted deeply in the drum&bass scene, and causing severe damage in the ever more popular jumpup world, these two have been around long enough to add a dose of different beats to the standard jumpup scene, making their sets stand out among their peers.

With a number of high profile gigs coming up, and more releases in the pipeline, it is now the right time to get on board the Baz & Simplistix train.
