Doughboy is 1 of our longest serving KFA artists & finally he gets his first Vinyl EP. This is to commemorate the release of his forthcoming album.
This amazing 4 track EP features 2 original Doughboy tracks & 2 remixes.
The first remix is from Phuture Assassins & what a remix it is! Taking you all the way back to the early 90's with that ragga hardcore sound.
The second remix is from the Bossman himself, Luna-C! going back to the early KFA days for his remix, heafty choppy breaks & a manic piano to get your heart pumping!
Then the cream is 2 new tracks from Doughboy, My Sound is an amazing modern breakbeat hardcore track that can sit in either a hardcore or drum & bass set, bridging that gap perfectly! His flip side track is a sublime trip back to the old skool, showing that he really is an amazing all round artist that is only just really getting going!

Hailing from the northern suburbs of ATHENS, GREECE, DJ MEDIT (aka LAMPROS DOUROS) began his journey as a DJ in the '90s. Heavily influenced by the sounds of JUNGLE and BREAKBEAT, MEDIT was also enthralled and intrigued by REGGAE, DUB, FUNK, and SOUL. In 2009, he launched the 'MEDITDNB' project (a blog dedicated to promoting DRUM+BASS throughout GREECE and other MEDITERRANEAN countries). Throughout his musical journey, MEDIT has gained support from notable artists and producers such as FURNEY, MYSTIFIC, SOUL CONNECTION, InnaSelf, DAN GUIDANCE, DUB DEFENSE, and CRITYCAL DUB (among many others). You can catch him on the airwaves via the GREEK-based BLACK DUCK RADIO station on MONDAYS (9pm GMT). With a playing style mainly focused on the LIQUID, ATMOSPHERIC, and SOULFUL ends of DRUM+BASS, DJ MEDIT is definitely a name to add to your list of quality, musical tastemakers.

Bazil's production started with his rolling atmospheric D&B. Influenced by the nineties "tech-step" era, in particular the likes of early Virus & Subtitles, blended with his own unique sound that he has been progressively carving out since his early releases on labels Dispatch. Flexout, Full force, to name a few. Fast forward to the present you can see this sound represented under his alias Surgence.
 You can hear a new sound under the Bazil identity today. Expect Dubby infused half speed beats using multiple genres with Jungle influences, electronics & Rave sounds.  A new album due in June 30 with vocalist Izness and legendary singer Earl 16.  His latest releases on Dreadzone's label Dubwiser with tracks such as 'Ganjaman' and 'Change'. Bazil has been supported by Break, Loxy, Survival, Ant TC1, Octane & DLR as well as BBC 1Xtra exposure from DJ Bailey. Don Letts played Bazil Ganjaman on his BBC show. The last decade he has been sharpening the dynamics to the Dreadzone Sound. He is in control of the technology for the band. Whilst Honing his skills as a mix engineer Bazil co-mixed the Top 40 Dreadzone album 'Dread Times'  He has successful remixes behind him teaming up with Dreadzone on Dub Fx's track 'In My Head'  Also a well received remix of 'Zion Youth' and 'Fire in the Dark' by Dreadzone. Recent music has had BBC radio support from Don Letts.
