BIOMA team! Take a bow! Such a phenomenal weekend with the best people, location and vibes! I had the absolute pleasure of playing sunset on the main Nocturnal stage on Saturday. I am definitely not alone in my sadness today - I think everyone on the scene is again in shock after hearing the sad news of another fallen soldier. 
DJ Randall was one of my absolute favourite DJs and influences. I would like to send out my deepest sympathies to his friends & family & to everyone on the scene feeling this shared grief.

To celebrate our return we have an hour long special from 2 x UK Vice Champ for @redbull3style, a true talanted legend in the game @revrt. Scratching his way through he next hour Revrt will take you on a journey from all genres leaving you wanting more.

We personally first saw Revrt live at Coalesce Festival back in 2023 and it was honestly unlike anything we have ever seen before. It was refreshing to see so much energy and passion go in to producing such a raw live DJ experience.

We have honestly been really slow this year but we now have our curating heads back on and plan to curate some sick shows and will be fore sure getting Revrt

Tell us about upcoming gigs you have?
I'm buzzing to be playing at Bangface again in a few weeks time, then after that am playing with EN.VEE in our first official b2b at Lost Horizon in Bristol, so keep an eye out for the event dropping soon! I've got a few more exciting gigs coming up over the next few months that also haven't been announced so I won't say too much just yet..

What was your worst job ever?
Hmm tough question I've had my fair share of pretty bad jobs, the winner would probably be 12 hour days packing boxes with no headphones and Christmas songs on repeat!

Atmospheric Journey

Bazil's production started with his rolling atmospheric D&B. Influenced by the nineties "tech-step" era, in particular the likes of early Virus & Subtitles, blended with his own unique sound that he has been progressively carving out since his early releases on labels Dispatch. Flexout, Full force, to name a few. Fast forward to the present you can see this sound represented under his alias Surgence.
 You can hear a new sound under the Bazil identity today. Expect Dubby infused half speed beats using multiple genres with Jungle influences, electronics & Rave sounds.  A new album due in June 30 with vocalist Izness and legendary singer Earl 16.  His latest releases on Dreadzone's label Dubwiser with tracks such as 'Ganjaman' and 'Change'. Bazil has been supported by Break, Loxy, Survival, Ant TC1, Octane & DLR as well as BBC 1Xtra exposure from DJ Bailey. Don Letts played Bazil Ganjaman on his BBC show. The last decade he has been sharpening the dynamics to the Dreadzone Sound. He is in control of the technology for the band. Whilst Honing his skills as a mix engineer Bazil co-mixed the Top 40 Dreadzone album 'Dread Times'  He has successful remixes behind him teaming up with Dreadzone on Dub Fx's track 'In My Head'  Also a well received remix of 'Zion Youth' and 'Fire in the Dark' by Dreadzone. Recent music has had BBC radio support from Don Letts.
