AMP, producer/content creator has been a musical wizard since the ripe young age of 3 when he would mimic his father playing drums, and his first experience with vinyl was not long after when he would sneak his dads records to the top of the driveway then sit on them and sled down to the bottom!! The next time AMP would touch vinyl was in 1996 after a friend returned from the UK and brought with him the UK Hardhouse sound. One listen and AMP was in! In 2002 he joined a long list of Auckland Djs starting up the mighty UPfm and within weeks had created The AMPlified House Show, a broadcast that turns 21 years old this year as well as celebrating 400 Shows!  After a hiatus from hardhouse and playing house for around 12 years AMPs back on the hardhouse scene bringing a unique and distinctive full sound with an attacking ‘playing live’ style that’s been refined over the 27 years now served in the headphones. Now also producing tracks with engineer Manik as well as being one third of new hardhouse group TriMangl’d, hardhouse lovers the world over will enjoy the contributions AMP offers up! I've loved Hard Dance since 2000 when I first found Megabyte, an amazing Hard House event with great DJs, a unique sound, and awesome people.

Most styles get me stompin, but I find real joy from that bouncy, fun, happy 'megabyte' sound. My mixes tend to favour that, although I can't resist some female vocals, trancey breakdown, or a thumping bass line 🙌🏻. 

Over the last year I have begun including many genres of Hard Dance in my mixes, including techno, trance, hard trance, tech trance and EDM; and always try to include both current tunes and forgotten gems in each one.....
