EraTek - Replicated Optimism

Named after one of many in-jokes born at 2022's Boomtown Festival, this is a bit of an overloaded, unhinged monster of a Skullstep Track. I just threw loads of ideas at FL Studio and tried to see what sticks and ended up with a tune that has 6 different drops. And foghorns. Because why not. I can now say i snuck foghorns on a Jungle Syndicate release. Put that on my gravestone.
The main drums in this partially sample a Limewax tune i really like, and that should tell you where a lot of the inspiration for it came from. I've been playing out entire Skullstep Sets occasionally but never really gotten around to actually making a track in that style so I'm glad it finally happened, even if it is infested by all the little quirks that are usually found in my tracks.
