hey friends and welcome to the first episode of mid-morning recovery. i'm in marseille right now and this morning i woke up at 6 am and thought about how cool it would be to see the sun rise somewhere so i took one of those trashy le vélo bikes that never work and rode up to notre dame de la garde. i've really been enjoying booking these bikes over the past week, riding out to the les calanques, listening to the new blood orange record and reading this weird book on spirituality my mom gave me a couple years ago (loving it btw thank you mom).
i also revisited frank ocean’s blonde and to be honest, listening to it on the way back to the city riding parallel to the coast as the sun sets it hits you right where it should and kind of makes you feel like a 16 year old teenager on the first heartbreak - gold.
anyway, up at notre dame this morning i realized i really want to have my own radio show and share songs i love. so this is it i guess.
