On New Years Day in 2010, Dan's life changed forever when he jumped into a shallow river in the Amazon and broke his neck.

A charity in Surrey is to keep on converting Undershaw -the home of Sherlock author Arthur Conan Doyle into a school for disabled children.

That's despite a new judicial review of the planning permission.

Are drivers travelling on their morning commute through Surrey going slower than in any other county in England?

The county council claims that they are. 

It follows figures from the Department for Transport which reveal that the average rush-hour speed on Surrey's A-roads is just 22 miles an hour.

A minute's silence will be held at the Wings and Wheels air show in Dunsfold tomorrow.

Crowds at the festival will stop to remember the eleven people who died in a plane crash in Shoreham on Saturday.

One man who was just metres away from the tragedy was Neil Lewer from Salfords.

He was at the festival with his family when disaster struck, but despite almost losing his life he says he doesn't feel air shows should be banned....

He's been telling our reporter Matt Graveling about that day....
