Saturday 17th saw the launch of MUTHA at The Glove That Fits which fundraised for local grassroots organisations fighting the good fight against climate change. 

100% of the profits from the show were donated to local Hackney-based charity ecoActive, actively supporting residents in Hackney to develop community gardens on their estates; forest school programmes, and helping to create a pollinator corridor between four parks in Hackney, whilst working closely alongside schools and community groups.

From his musical practice, Romain Dafalgang offers a monthly teleconsultation with Prescription Mixes, effective treatments for body, mind and soul. 

Using his headphones as a stethoscope, Romain Dafalgang examines partygoers and carefully selects the most effective curative molecules from a multitude of genres and electronic rhythms. In his flasks, we can find sounds from the most advanced laboratories: infectious pulses, therapeutic basses, analgesic synths and revitalizing vocals that act as medicine for the heart.

At the request of the CNC (French National Cinema Center) Maxime Dangles has realized for a date series across France a cine-concert on the rare and innovative silent film of 1913 "Le Roman de Carpentier" tribute to the first French boxing world champion.

The result is twelve tracks between ambient, IDM, electronica and Melodic Techno exploring the story from all angles and feelings.

A sound narrative of great finesse, affirming the richness of Maxime Dangles' production work and his ability to draw singular landscapes from which strong emotions emerge, following in the footsteps of Hans Zimmer, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross' original soundtracks, while exploring the most experimental side of club music.

Maxime Dangles entered the electronic music scene 15 years ago on the Kompakt label, collecting prestigious remixes (Moby, Green Velvet, Simian Mobile Disco, Kittin & The Hacker...). Reference of the international electronic scene, he’s renowned for his immersive and singular sound design that he shapes with his modular synths. But for the last 4 years, Maxime Dangles has slowed down his club dates to devote himself to this type of creation, to the spatialization of sound, in places such as the SAT in Montreal and to the SONARS arts and sciences project alongside researchers from the CNRS, who took him on board at the heart of their research on the islands of Saint-Pierre and Micquelon.

This soundtrack is also the subject of a film-concert.
