Joining forces for their collaborative debut on Bombstrikes, Kenny Beeper and SwinINC have delivered a full-throttle Bass Funk track in the form of 'Do It Likes This'. Already well established with a string of chart successes to his name, Kenny Beeper certainly isn’t new to the label. Here though he is joined by fellow Australian SwinINC who together have smashed shows with some of the scene's biggest names including Opiuo and Krafty Kuts.

The vibrant electronic flavours of ‘Do It Like This’ hit hard, with the bass-heavy instrumentation being driven along perfectly by Everyman’s rawkus flow, combining Hip Hop elements with guitars, synth, and driving percussion which makes for a perfect blend to trouble sound systems.

What happens when you combine some electronic funk from the Nation's Capital and blend it with some glitched-out beats and basslines from Australia? You get a wobbly, funky dance floor banger, aptly titled Keep The Funk Real, the lovechild of Slynk and Fort Knox Five. Evan Chandler aka Slynk and Steve Raskin of FK5 have been long time friends and have played shows together going back a decade. As part of the Danio Music crew the two have represented funky beats across the globe, but it took both of them living in Vancouver to finally collaborate on a track.

Keep The Funk Real is a mid-tempo glitch-hop banger that features Evan’s signature killer keyboard riffs, fat bass drops, funky guitar hooks, strings, horns and bumpin’ beats. Exactly what you would want from a Slynk and FK5 cocktail. To top it off the vocal sample comes from the late great Mustafa Akbar and imbues the song with his grown & sexy vintage tones! In Slynk’s own words; “It’s funky fresh glitch-hop basslines are guaranteed to create a magnitude 7 earthquake in your glutes and upper thigh area - or your money back!”

Keep the Funk Real is the third installment of the DC to BC series, following on the heels of last months soul funk single, Playin' with Fire featuring Emily Molloy and the dance-floor banger that started it all, Jinglin Janglin, a collab with K+lab.

This tune is a funk meets glitch-hop banger that is primed to ignite dancefloors and festivals worldwide. The release also includes an instrumental mix for the DJs so keep the funk real with this funky wobbly dance floor shaker and stay tuned for the next installation of the DC to BC series coming soon.

“It’s on like that!” Projected from Mark Curry’s vocal cords during 2001’s rap hit “Bad Boys for Life.” Well…. Scoot along Sean Combs. @crashparty are wielding their sampling sticks, have borrowed Mark’s one liner under a new guise “Paul Spicy” (for copyright reasons obviously) and are moving into the neighbourhood to throw their own barn dance! Find them in Grandpas wheelchair at the deep end of the swimming pool, high on Aloe Vera cooking up synthesiser sounds that’ll make Black Rob shriek Whoa indeed!

Kicking off the Shindig is the title track “It’s on Like That.” You can expect the standard shenanigans from the boys as they bring rumblings and growls from Ableton perfectly alongside guitar licks, drum fills, heavy kicks, snares and bass. This track is an absolute belter.

Keeping to their signature sound, they bring Natty Speaks along for the ride on “What You Come to Do?” Well, it looks that they came to Bruck up the party! CP & @nattydefcon tempt you in with a more relaxed vibe, but once they have you in their clutches, they crank it to 200 guaranteeing a mosh pit wherever this is played. This is a solid Collab with the perfect vocal content from Natty.

Up next… “Funk It Up” Doing what’s scribbled on the can! This 120-bpm gem is brimming over with funky guitar’s, fresh horns and a delicious bass line that transforms into some tasty growls while remaining an accessible party joint to all listeners.

Slamming hard on the tail of this EP is the remix competition winner @swiminc This gentleman stepped up to the challenge of remixing “Funk It Up” and surfaced from his den victorious with this Fresh to Def take on CP’s original. Darkening it up a bit with some serious Synth action while paying homage to the OG, this is how a remix should be handled.

Founded by Boe Pedersen (Dj BadboE) in Denmark, and now based in Florida. The label originates from the music website Breakbeat Paradise that has been running since 1996. Breakbeat Paradise is dedicated to breakers and electronic musicians within the style of music that we can loosely term as breakbeat. Developing and improving this website over the last 10 years to include everything from visitor music sharing, annual breakbeat contests, samplekits and discussion forum. We felt that going into digital music distribution would be a natural next step.

The music material on the Breakbeat Paradise website has over 1000 pieces of music. Breakbeat Paradise Recordings will  pick up the very best  “cream of the crop”, artists  and tunes and release them as digital downloads through Breakbeat Paradise Recordings  collaborative partners . We found digital distribution would match perfect with our cutting-edge funky breakbeat music and the fastest way from  the streets – to the listener and dancefloor!

With only exclusive vinyl and digital releases , we are always focused on the most important thing for us – the music! 

The music will span from traditional nu funk and funky breaks to more dancefloor oriented ghetto funk,  future funk and big beat as well as hip hop with a glitch and the more mellow side of the drum ‘n’ bass and nu breaks. The sound of Breakbeat Paradise is driven by an emphatic beat that is intended to form a leitmotif between the releases.

Even though releases from Breakbeat Paradise will be coming from different artists, we always uniform a sound by focusing within the genres of breakbeat.  Collaborators and musicians work close together on our label and we are always ensuring a brand of selective “state of the art“, quality and sound .

We will devote ourselves to deliver the phattest, funkiest and the biggest grooves to be found out there...
