Everyone’s favourite Swiss production quartet, The Niceguys, return with another irresistible dose of funk in ‘Put Some Love’. Longtime collaborator Bobby Saint again takes on vocal duties, with the LA-based Bermudian effortlessly gliding over a rich tapestry of horns, guitars, and keys, with his signature nu-soul-infused tones. With now their second full release though Breakbeat Paradise Recordings, Mined &amp; Forrest have delivered an awesome array of breaks and beat, as well as bringing in remixes from Funkanizer and Blockboy.
&rsquo;Coming Through&rsquo; is a low tempo funky roller, loaded with vocals stabs, guitar riffs, a flowing bassline, and even a nice violin section to boot&hellip;The second track brings in some heaviness. &rsquo;Rock on&rsquo; gets the big boy treatment, with punchy beats and synths followed by a big wobble bass to bring it all together.
For the third track, Mined &amp; Forrest join forces with LAWN, Stephanie Lottermoser and Eve Lamell, for a smoooooth, atmospheric, bass heavy lounger called &lsquo;I Would Fall&rsquo;. The hypnotic vocals take you on a journey of delight, progressing through sumptuous sounds, and a sax to die for, with it all culminating in a musical voyage of live and electronic instruments.
Now&hellip; Funkanizer&hellip; This guy has brought the funk with his fantastic remix of &rsquo;Funk Toxic&rsquo;. Snappy snares, a deep rolling bassline, as some switch-ups all come together to get those feet moving.
The final track on the already funkin&rsquo; release, sees Blockboy put his touch to the sweet &lsquo;I Would Fall&rsquo;, and you can definitely here his hip-hop roots. The riddem is back with a bang!!!
Breakin the Riddem Vol.3 is here, and yet again it’s on fire. Blending those reggae riddem sounds, with those breaks and bass, it’s all come together to show how reggae can influence the different styles.
Kicking off with a stalwart producer of those reggae breaks is Gun by Cockney Nutjob. Clean and simple beats filled up by lost of sub-bass, and a catchy vocal that any lover of reggae wil know. Venture & Capital are new to the scene, and definitely don’t disappoint. They bring their own style to the mix, with some super heavy bass, glitchy mid-range synths, and topped up with an assortment of vocal choruses and stabs to keep you guessing thoughout.  Next up, we have Fredy High returning yet again, and this time he’s brought Ragga Stevie G with him. The flow of this track is sublime, and Ragga Stevie G leaves his mark on an already sweet riddem.  Pecoe is another pillar of the funky breaks scene, and seems to make anything he touches into a proper funky number. And it’s no different here, putting his individual impression on this release. 
Time to get heavy with Bezwun again. His track on Vol.2 was killa, but this one is illa. It’s pure pleasure listening to thi sone, as he changes up through the track, introducing bass to compliment the bass.  Keeping up the heaviness, Basschimp gets his jungle on, and comes with an amen laced future jungle gem. This one is for all those who like the breaks, and the DnB feel to their music.
Getting a bit more funky with it, Liberty Chaps get slapbass happy, perfectly combining badass glitchy funk with that touch of reggae style.
Finishing off the release, is Mined & Forrest, followed by Ocelus.  Mined & Forrest get their dancehall style on, to get those booty’s shakin, while Ocelus brings the tempo and goes dubby in what he knows best.

Founded by Boe Pedersen (Dj BadboE) in Denmark, and now based in Florida. The label originates from the music website Breakbeat Paradise that has been running since 1996. Breakbeat Paradise is dedicated to breakers and electronic musicians within the style of music that we can loosely term as breakbeat. Developing and improving this website over the last 10 years to include everything from visitor music sharing, annual breakbeat contests, samplekits and discussion forum. We felt that going into digital music distribution would be a natural next step.

The music material on the Breakbeat Paradise website has over 1000 pieces of music. Breakbeat Paradise Recordings will  pick up the very best  “cream of the crop”, artists  and tunes and release them as digital downloads through Breakbeat Paradise Recordings  collaborative partners . We found digital distribution would match perfect with our cutting-edge funky breakbeat music and the fastest way from  the streets – to the listener and dancefloor!

With only exclusive vinyl and digital releases , we are always focused on the most important thing for us – the music! 

The music will span from traditional nu funk and funky breaks to more dancefloor oriented ghetto funk,  future funk and big beat as well as hip hop with a glitch and the more mellow side of the drum ‘n’ bass and nu breaks. The sound of Breakbeat Paradise is driven by an emphatic beat that is intended to form a leitmotif between the releases.

Even though releases from Breakbeat Paradise will be coming from different artists, we always uniform a sound by focusing within the genres of breakbeat.  Collaborators and musicians work close together on our label and we are always ensuring a brand of selective “state of the art“, quality and sound .

We will devote ourselves to deliver the phattest, funkiest and the biggest grooves to be found out there...
