Hailing from Germany with releases on labels such as Sondae, Westwood Recordings or Beat Art Department, Mined Music carries on the foundation of the musical direction where they left off and adding his personal signature to the sound - making ’Thief Of The Night’ to be deep hip-hop monster of a tune. Amvis on the vocals provides the proper quality flow fitting to the slower pace of the original.

No release on BBP Recordings would be full without some serious bass action, so Lack Jemmon is here to deliver! Their tunes and remixes already enjoy the key support of artists such as Stickybuds, Funk Hunters or Hong Kong Ping Pong and this remix work here on the EP will be just another festival banger. Speeding up the tune a little bit, while saturating the vibe with that Lack Jemmon edge to it, the Budapest based duo placed a filthy, glitch bass-heavy funk anthem on the table. This cranky, crunchy beat thunder version of the original song is the output of Lack Jemmon for quite a while, so make sure to have a check on this fresh one.

To complete the package, and to tease all the authentic funk heads, the legend he is, Mister T turns the tune towards the funky side of things. The drums are as fat as a meat patty, the basslines are spicy and juicy while diverse and colourful synth-melodies hit like a fresh salad. All in all, Mr. Ours has just finally fully arrived to Breakbeat Paradise Recordings and we think, this EP is definitely something you shall consider consuming.
The beat bear he is, our French producer has made a thorough work. As he usually does with many of his songs, he was inviting fellow contemporary artists again to create this EP together... "Don't You Mind" EP sees Proleter co-writing the tune called 'Feeling Hot' - applying it with a hard swing edge. The title track is featuring MC Shurshock which is the very first collab of this duo formation resulting in a big room dubstep roots banger. The rest of the EP, with tunes like "Dolphin Dance" and "Drop It", serves a proper bass heavy modern funk environment - giving quality glitch-hop and breezy ghetto-funk a big high-five. Having delivered a powerful drum'n'bass tune to BBP's Powerhour Free Download Series last month, this EP is a perfect follow up of Mr. Ours to continue his way on Breakbeat Paradise Recordings.

Founded by Boe Pedersen (Dj BadboE) in Denmark, and now based in Florida. The label originates from the music website Breakbeat Paradise that has been running since 1996. Breakbeat Paradise is dedicated to breakers and electronic musicians within the style of music that we can loosely term as breakbeat. Developing and improving this website over the last 10 years to include everything from visitor music sharing, annual breakbeat contests, samplekits and discussion forum. We felt that going into digital music distribution would be a natural next step.

The music material on the Breakbeat Paradise website has over 1000 pieces of music. Breakbeat Paradise Recordings will  pick up the very best  “cream of the crop”, artists  and tunes and release them as digital downloads through Breakbeat Paradise Recordings  collaborative partners . We found digital distribution would match perfect with our cutting-edge funky breakbeat music and the fastest way from  the streets – to the listener and dancefloor!

With only exclusive vinyl and digital releases , we are always focused on the most important thing for us – the music! 

The music will span from traditional nu funk and funky breaks to more dancefloor oriented ghetto funk,  future funk and big beat as well as hip hop with a glitch and the more mellow side of the drum ‘n’ bass and nu breaks. The sound of Breakbeat Paradise is driven by an emphatic beat that is intended to form a leitmotif between the releases.

Even though releases from Breakbeat Paradise will be coming from different artists, we always uniform a sound by focusing within the genres of breakbeat.  Collaborators and musicians work close together on our label and we are always ensuring a brand of selective “state of the art“, quality and sound .

We will devote ourselves to deliver the phattest, funkiest and the biggest grooves to be found out there...
