The first volumns dropped back 2020 and included 5 original jams and some big remixes from some of big names in the funky breaks scene. Volume 2 is no different with 5 new funky bangers from the Pecoe beatmaster himself and remixes coming from dirtyFly &amp; Bodex, discObeta, FunkinRight &amp; Ross Go.
Kicking things off with the dancefloor friendly Sucker U Missed followed by a remix from the Aussie producer duo dirtyFly and Boydex who&rsquo;s added some additional bass to it.Following a similar forumal on the 2nd track called Babe which see a clever remix from the always reliable discObeta who brings out some big solid grooves on his remix of Babe.
Things are about to heat up as we move along to the Highly Strung jam that finds FunkinRight apply some massiv basslines on his badass remix.

Feeling Fly is his new release - and it gives us just what the title promises! Five super funky, super groovy tracks that makes us feel fly! 

Opening track 'Feeling Fly' is a fat funky based tune with a fine break beat drums and warm gospel like lyrics encasing the deal! As always wicked baselines and playful horns setting the mood! The second track 'Let the Spirit heal' keeps up the same funky atmosphere, this time with the contribution of a second set of gospel and soul style vocals! 

'So Damn Funky' is a wonderful mix of pure funk style beats, baseline and rhythms - groovy to the bone. 'Walking Together' is a classic funk bomb - energetic, deep soulful sax vibes and groovy beats! Last but not least 'Flashback (Louie's Kitchen)' wraps up the release with a splash of funk, just enough to start unwinding after this upbeat super downtempo groove trip!

In its Original form, 'The Soulway Players' has male gospel backing vox, diva shouts namechecking Memphis, New Orleans, Chicago and New York, and most importantly a sense of repressed energy - like the club's gonna go crazy any second now, which means it'll be a great set-builder. The Extended Mix gives the fuzz guitar more room to breathe while Louie's House Mix sticks a 4/4 kick underneath, but in pleasingly subtle fashion.

Starting out with the intoxicating Global Chremistry with Craig G and some big funky grooves. Moving on to the Go Move featuring the awesome Andy Cooper on a smooth boom bap joint. The classic Wild Thing gets a oldskool hiphop twist with some big rhymes by Birdapres and cuts by DJ Robert Smith. The breaks are about to get serious as Chrome drops some high paced rhymes on the Who&rsquo;s Nice Kid track. Finally the A-Side finishes up paying some respect to some of the classics beat and breaks from the early hip days on the King Of Rock jam.

Founded by Boe Pedersen (Dj BadboE) in Denmark, and now based in Florida. The label originates from the music website Breakbeat Paradise that has been running since 1996. Breakbeat Paradise is dedicated to breakers and electronic musicians within the style of music that we can loosely term as breakbeat. Developing and improving this website over the last 10 years to include everything from visitor music sharing, annual breakbeat contests, samplekits and discussion forum. We felt that going into digital music distribution would be a natural next step.

The music material on the Breakbeat Paradise website has over 1000 pieces of music. Breakbeat Paradise Recordings will  pick up the very best  “cream of the crop”, artists  and tunes and release them as digital downloads through Breakbeat Paradise Recordings  collaborative partners . We found digital distribution would match perfect with our cutting-edge funky breakbeat music and the fastest way from  the streets – to the listener and dancefloor!

With only exclusive vinyl and digital releases , we are always focused on the most important thing for us – the music! 

The music will span from traditional nu funk and funky breaks to more dancefloor oriented ghetto funk,  future funk and big beat as well as hip hop with a glitch and the more mellow side of the drum ‘n’ bass and nu breaks. Even though releases from Breakbeat Paradise will be coming from different artists, we always uniform a sound by focusing within the genres of breakbeat.  Collaborators and musicians work close together on our label and we are always ensuring a brand of selective “state of the art“, quality and sound .
