Sonale has been on the BBP radar for a while with some big releases on labels like Big Fat Mama and Cuttin&rsquo; It Fine. Here he is with a fresh new 4-tracker to showcase his strictly-business method on glitchy funk jams.
Kicking off the EP with the catchy title tune Funkin&rsquo; Ya House which slams on a steady rocking breakbeat and a catchcy rap sample before bringing on the big basslines. That same winning combo is continued on the second track called No Satisfaction, which brings more in-your-face breakbeats and progressive funky basslines. Leaving you no chance to sit still on the 3rd jam called Shake Your Shoulders, which brings breakbeats with snares that cuts like razor blades and funky electric basslines. Not like it ever stopped but the final track on the EP is called Start Groovin&rsquo; and delivers more of that catchcy glitch funk and hard kicking breakbeats.

Boydex is back for his 3rd EP drop on Breakbeat Paradise and he’s brought some friend and an arsenal of funky beats. The Blessing EP features co-productions with the new BBP producer Baxsta as well as veteran beat master Pecoe. All 4 tracks featuring Boydex signature steady rocking beats and groovy guitar hooks and some chilled melodies with Sully Sax laying on the saxophone solos. 

Boydex kicks off the EP with a solid co-production with Melbourne-based producer Baxsta caslled Burning Up which takes a catchy vocal and dips it in some funky soulful breaks production. Moving on with some steady rocking beats and funky slab bass on the Blessings track, which features more catchy vocals and chilled vibes.

Taking it back to the raw funky business while teaming up with Pecoe on the third cut called Move Around before getting busy on the Funky Fresh jam, which also featured on the Christmas Bootleg Bells Vol. 3 that dropped last year.

Breakbeat Paradise Recordings has teamed up with hip-hop legend Paul Sitter who has gather some of dopest MCs on the planet to feature on the epic LP: Hip-Hip Delivery.The LP is a celebration to the oldskool hiphop vibes that started it all by cutting and scratching up the classic funk record, twisted in a brand-new way with MCs from around the world dropping fire on the mic.
Starting out with the intoxicating Global Chremistry with Craig G and some big funky grooves. Moving on to the Go Move featuring the awesome Andy Cooper on a smooth boom bap joint. The classic Wild Thing gets a oldskool hiphop twist with some big rhymes by Birdapres and cuts by DJ Robert Smith. With the originals getting props from the likes of DJ Yoda, Fatboy Slim and JFB - it was time to do the do on the remix front and make the whole package even bigger. On 'Feel Good', Krafty Kuts moves away from the slinky p-funk of the original to lay down a more up-tempo funk version, while thatmanmonkz replaces the funk sample of the original with a driving house groove.

Over on 'Back In The Day', Smoove does exactly what his Old School mix says on the tin, dropping classic hip hop samples into the mix. George Solar finished off the package with a dubby slo-mo balearic mix perfect for downtempo sets on the island he calls home.

Founded by Boe Pedersen (Dj BadboE) in Denmark, and now based in Florida. The label originates from the music website Breakbeat Paradise that has been running since 1996. Breakbeat Paradise is dedicated to breakers and electronic musicians within the style of music that we can loosely term as breakbeat. Developing and improving this website over the last 10 years to include everything from visitor music sharing, annual breakbeat contests, samplekits and discussion forum. We felt that going into digital music distribution would be a natural next step.

The music material on the Breakbeat Paradise website has over 1000 pieces of music. Breakbeat Paradise Recordings will  pick up the very best  “cream of the crop”, artists  and tunes and release them as digital downloads through Breakbeat Paradise Recordings  collaborative partners . We found digital distribution would match perfect with our cutting-edge funky breakbeat music and the fastest way from  the streets – to the listener and dancefloor!

With only exclusive vinyl and digital releases , we are always focused on the most important thing for us – the music! 

The music will span from traditional nu funk and funky breaks to more dancefloor oriented ghetto funk,  future funk and big beat as well as hip hop with a glitch and the more mellow side of the drum ‘n’ bass and nu breaks. The sound of Breakbeat Paradise is driven by an emphatic beat that is intended to form a leitmotif between the releases.

Even though releases from Breakbeat Paradise will be coming from different artists, we always uniform a sound by focusing within the genres of breakbeat.  Collaborators and musicians work close together on our label and we are always ensuring a brand of selective “state of the art“, quality and sound .

We will devote ourselves to deliver the phattest, funkiest and the biggest grooves to be found out there...
