I'm currently taking a Contemporary Vocal Arranging course through Berklee so I thought I'd post some of the stuff I've been working on. These sounds won't be perfect...but they've been fun to work on.

This sketch is for an assignment in 3-part vocal writing. I was asked to arrange 8-16 of a pop tune using various 3-part vocal textures with a separate melody line.

Here's another assignment from my arranging class. The task this time around was to create a 4 or 5 part acapella  setting of "Every Breath You Take". There were a few parts that were out of my range but I put this demo recording together anyway...made me feel like Andy Bernard for a few days while I was putting it together.

Assignment for Week 7 of my Contemporary Vocal Arranging course: acapella - melody with backing vocals in a variety of textures. 

I enjoyed working on this arrangement...and I hope to finish the rest of the piece someday...but the recording makes me wish I knew more about how to use Logic Pro.
