Beats and Rhyme making trad' Hip Hop style...The keeping it real tag was swinging hardchore when Gangstarr were on the scene back late 80's and early to mid 90's. 2 of Hip Hop's finest, DJ Premier and Guru were the ultimate Hip Hop duo. A Batman and Robin type duo, cleaning up all the bullshit and fake MC lyrics, fake Gat slingers and overall fake lyrics that dont pack any real meaning. Guru crushed all that and rocked mics up and down the U.S. Premo was emerging as the best Hip Hop producer and Guru did a little acting while developing Jazzmatazz. Guru had found a niche that carried him through to the end of his days in human form on earth mid 2010 and we all sorely miss him. 'Not da full clip' is my personal DaDat n BCAC tribute to him and its free to download. I dedicate this joinjt also to DJ 279 from Choice FM London, who had many interviews with Premo and Guru and i enjoyed them all. Peace and R.I.P Guru, coz he was 1 of my Gurus

Just a reminder of what we could be in for over the coming 2 months. Things is gettin' ready to pop off. This song was written off of a documentary i saw on Channel 4 in England '04. Jon Snow is a stylish news journalist for the channels main news network. He further worked on the notorious Dispatches documentary series which pulls no punches when exposing the elite money launderers and corrupt Governments even in they own backyard. Jon courageously covered the plight of media outlets in war zones and the censorship of thier material. How the Americans put on a press show with a hundred or so locals in ever so trashed Bagdad by getting the crowd to cheer (probably under sniper range) when they pulled Saddam's statue down. And how those same soldiers blew tha' shit outta a press hotel in case too much was reported. Jon also covered the Blair governments rubber stamping of the killing and murder of thousands and thousands of innocent women and children. World...Looks like it gon' happen again. Coz We Know Who They Are ,,,Dont we???

Get the Original on another site. This mix uses a well known drum loop to depict the time Hip Hop had real beats.The bassline was tediously etched out using pen tools for lack of a midi hook up. This song is a little wordy, but basically it all came out of a new obsession, circa 2004 with 'Bling'. The word got dictionary notoriety and British MP's along with TV personalities were using it. P.Diddy had one in his ear and J.lo was advertizing them. Hip HOP wash awash with 'Bling'. Time to get busy and set it straight. South Africa was and is and never will be free. Diamonds had and still do have a lot to do with that. Also the homophobia banners were being waved around at the time and  pro activist, Peter Tatchell,  was having baby tantrums while bombs were going off in Soho Central London. A reference to 'Queens' in the song, ties the theme up.  Part of the Industry Fables track list, this song is not attacking ' sexual Genre'. or Shirly Bassy impersonators. The Industry does pack a healthy amount of perversity and further praises Lauren Hill on her  Artistic, professional and moral stance.
