For Trans Awareness Week 2025, we’re spotlighting trans and non-binary artists with a special SoundCloud mix series curated by @bodyshift. Each set is an invitation to listen with an open heart, to care, and to act with intention.

Awareness means listening, amplifying, and protecting what’s vulnerable and too often unheard. When dignity is debated, we choose action: book, pay, credit, platform, and protect trans and non-binary artists. Visibility matters. Joy matters. Safety matters. Let’s make all three non-negotiable for the future leading to Trans Day of Remembrance on 20th of November.

Kiar Oscuro is a Berlin-based DJ and producer whose sound moves between light and dark, merging raw, hard techno with tribal grooves. Shaped by free raves and a decade in Berlin’s underground, their sets thrive on contrast — using confusion and fluidity to transcend norms of system, gender, and style. Guided by bass and emotion, Kiar invites listeners to lose themselves and discover freedom through sound.

This mix channels the emotional weight of surviving within a capitalist system while facing the darkness of autumn and winter. Heavy, fast basslines collide with groovy, bouncy rhythms as moments of light break through the intensity — an invitation to feel complexity through the body and keep moving, even on darker days.
